Regina woke up feeling stressed and deppressed the house was lonely and she went out for breakfast. She did not bother to brush her teeth, comb her hair or wear decent clothes. She lost weight and became malnourished she was haunted and well dead in the inside. Finally she got up one day thinking of Anna she called the police like every other week to see how the search for her daughter was going. Regina called and waited, " Hello this is the Sheriff's Department what do you need ma'am." they said like they always did. "Hey its Regina Grace...again, uh sorry to bother you again but I just wanted to know how the..." The phone line went dead. Regina was too smart not to know that hey would be dead by the time she got there. Regina already knew what to expect as she raced into her car and drove in silence. She arrived and got out of the car and as she creked open the loose old wooden door she heard a pattern of swift footsteps. The door opened and the lights where off, her eyes adjusted to the darkness. "Hellooo." She yelled at the top of her lungs. she walked around and found a flashlight. The batteries where dead. She found a packet of matches ten to be exact. She lit the first and looked at the emtpty hallways which seemed endless. The light went out, she lit another and looked at the checked tile floor and white walls. The light went out eight more left. She lit another and burned her finger making her drop it. She carefully lit another she walked in a long hallway with doors that where all locked and the match went out. Another match was light and she continued walking slowly she saw a light at the end of the hallway. She lit another leaving her with four matches. She walked and felt chills down her spine as she was now left with three final matches. AS she lit another she reached the light source whish was a open room with no doors, all the hallways led to this room the match went out and the "light source" turned out to be a flickering light that broke as soon as she lit her second to last match she kept getting colder. As she quickly looked around she found a table covered in a wine red cloth with a note. She read the words, " If you haven't noticed it, I sometimes watch you a bit, I have your daughter you know why, Wh do you make this difficult do you know she could die, and if you think you've figured me out that I am a killer, think again I might just be stiller than you think." The light went out and Regina froze as she felt the hot heavy breath of someone in front of her. Regina slowly and trembling light the last match in front of her face where she saw a man on the celing eyes wide open tears of blood on his pale white face and he was smiling. Regina screamed but the man put his cold hard hands on her mouth it was like touching fire, the sensation of the hands on her was killing her. The man smiled kindly and said, "The search is on."
