Two moons has passed away and Mother had been overprotective of me ever since. She always keep an eye on me, watching my every move.
I got used to this at first but somehow, it creeps me out. But I totally understand concerning that I'm two months old. She had to worry about me.
Every time I look at her, she smiled at me and I smiled back, showing my whites. I will usually giggle.
Daddy known as King Sahasi, I looked up to him, admiring him. He was my idol and role model. I will usually see him hunt or being on patrol.
I love how the way he will speak with the animals. It's warm but stern. I love how he's king especially that the animals saw him with respect.
Life at the Tree Of Life is amazing. There's friendly animals, beautiful lands and very delicious food and fruits.
Also with Summer, Shine, Tia and Hami. They're my best friends actually especially Tia who's by my side and we're the same age as well.
Summer and Shine are born are older by three moons and Hami is the oldest of all of us so he's more mature.
Hopefully, I hope we can grow together. I am very sure we'll be friends to the end. I am so sure of that.
Once the morning sun crept through the cave, I woke myself up. I stood up, and my wobbly legs can't cooperate with me. I fell with a thud.
Instead of feeling mad, a loud giggle came out of my throat. I shook my pelt and try to stand up again, it was a few minutes until I can walk perfectly.
I was shunned by the fact. Mother isn't in the cave with me. I walked out of the cave and exposed my eyes to the sunlight.
I sat down, taking in the beautiful glory before me. I smiled widely. The Tree Of Life is like a paradise for everyone here.
"Beautiful huh?" I looked up to see brown eyes looking at me softly. The wind blew softly brushing Mother's pelt.
"Mother, will this all be mine?" I breathed out. I'm not so sure she can hear me but I hoped so.
Mother laughed, her chest rumbling, for a reason, it made me laugh too. She stopped and grinned at me, her pupils twinkling. I stared back.
"Of course it's going to be all yours," She hummed softly. "You'll be Queen one day and this is your home,"
"Woah!" I breathed out. Mother laughed again and nuzzled me. Now, we're sitting down enjoying the view.
"Everything okay?" I looked up on that far voice. My ears twitched. It's Janna, my grandmother.
"Yes, mom, everything is fine," Mother spoke up. Gosh, they looked like same, if they are not mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, they should've been sisters!
"Grandmother!" I squealed jumping. She looked at me and smiled. I walked over to her and ruffled through her legs, purring.
"My sweet Rani! How are you?" She asked me as she placed a loving paw on my head and nuzzled. I smiled at her.
"I'm doing fine, grandmother!" I answer. I was very happy to see her today. She will usually take me on walks and teach me lessons about being Queen after all she's the past queen.
"Great, now please go and do something. I want to talk to your mother," Janna said. I was very confused.
"You're not going to take me on the walks again?" I asked. She shook her head, "Not today, tomorrow." I nodded at that and left.
I was walking through the plains minding my own business when suddenly I was tackled down by some three cubs.
"Summer, Shine, Tia...stop!" I giggled at them. I was pretty surprised they are able to do that.
"We got ya!" Shine giggled as they hopped off and helped me up. Shine is energetic and talkative as well as playful.
Summer is usually the quiet and calm one. Tia is like the same but really talkative as Shine. Hami is quiet but playful. And me, I'm the mixture of all of them.
"Haha, c'mon let's go and play!" Tia said. She was jumping all around making me laugh.
"Okay but where's Ham?" I asked. Ham is the nickname of Hami. The girls looked at each other and shrugged.
"We're not sure but he'll come looking for us. He knows us very well," Summer said quietly. I nodded.
"Let's play in the snowy plains!" I said and we all ran, our forelegs kicking off a dust of sand away.
We reached there, and I suddenly stopped making everyone bumped into me. There is a figure before us and it's Father.
"What are you all doing here?" His deep voice boomed, worry and curiosity in it. I gulped slightly.
"We're here to play," I answered, all my friends were quivering behind me. I had to say they're scared of my father though he's quite nice, just his intimidating aura.
"Rani, I thought I said before you got out and play with your friends, you should be bringing Saha with you!" He looked very angry and I suddenly felt guilty.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to," I said back. I'm sure I'm going to cry because my eyes are getting blurry and red.
Father's gaze softened through my blurry eyes. He leaned and nuzzled, "Don't cry. I'm just worried about you," He said very softly. I nodded, wiping my tears away.
"Okay, you can play without Saha around but don't ever get passed the mountain pass without anyone," Father said. I nodded. He chuckled and walked away.
"Your father is so scary, I thought I'll die!" Shine breathed out as she sat beside me along with the others.
"Don't say that," I rolled my eyes. "He's pretty scary much times but he's a good awesome lion!" I praised Father.
We started playing. We had a fun time exactly. Sometimes it even include a snow fight which is pretty funny when we saw Summer's annoyed face.
I returned back home in a good mood. All the lionesses are asleep. At the end on the throne slept my parents. It's night already so how funny it is for them to trust me to come back home all by myself.
And I love it.
