-It was completely a coincidence that you ran into the idol in the middle of the street, you didn't recognize her and didn't know her real identity (despite how obvious as to who it was)
-She took an interest in you, you being her only friend besides Callie, Captain Cuttlefish, and agent 3, just an (F/S) that was friendly and didn't want to bombard her with questions about her personal life and 'how it is to be related to Callie'.
-When she actually told you who she was though... you were shocked (which Marie expected) but your opinion on her didn't change.
-She's still Marie! Duh!
-But she was still hesitant to tell you regardless.
-When she realized that she started to develop feelings for you... that's a whole other story.
-but her being the mature cousin out of the squid sisters, I'd say she took it pretty well.
-And when I mean she took it well, she took it well on the outside. That didn't stop her from fainting on the inside everytime you blew her away from something cool you did in a turf war or something.
-But she's still that cool older cousin on the outside.
-Small blushes betray her though, her body knows what she likes!
