Park Y/N is a 5'4, 19 year old girl with striking brown hair, highlighted with blonde streaks, and has brown eyes. Though she can come across as reserved at first, she's funny and kind once you get to know her.
She rose to fame through her impressive skills in rap, dance, and singing on the popular girl group survival show, Produce 48. Y/N placed first in the competition and was set to debut in the highly anticipated girl group, Iz*One. However, her dreams were shattered after an attack from a hateful individual left her with a career-ending injury, and Iz*One, initially a 13 member group, became only 12 members.
Despite this setback, Y/N persevered and worked hard to pursue her passion for filmmaking. This led her to her current role as a young camerawoman on the hit survival show, Boys Planet.

Three.
"Are the cameras ready? Get in positions!"
Two.
"Dim the lights and adjust the angle-"
One.
"Quiet on set!" Y/N commanded.
The camera crew immediately obeyed, and got in their positions. With a nod of her head towards a staff member, the auditorium of Boys Planet was enveloped in light, revealing 98 seats for the trainees, a row of tables for the judges, and, most importantly, the glossy stage that shone at the front of the room.
One by one, trainees from around the world proceeded to enter the room. Some were from K group, others from G. Most had varying levels of nervousness, but a few looked confident and domineering. One of the tall, muscular black haired Jellyfish trainees especially caught her eye due to his intimidating aura, and she quickly moved away while fidgeting with her mask. The companies and introductions went by, with the tall Yueha trainees, then the Cube trainees. She suddenly felt grumpy about being so short. Sucks to be vertically challenged, she pouted.
Finally, there was only one trainee left. Y/N strained her neck to see who it was, and when she did, her eyes widened.
"Lee Hoe Taek?"
"Wait, is it actually Hui?"
"PENTAGON's vocalist?"
Of course, she knew Hoe Taek. She was actually quite friendly with him, since she had gotten in touch during her trainee days when she was a Cube trainee for a short while before switching to another company. He was like an older brother that she never had. Even during her Produce 48 days, she used to text him for advice and counseling, but she didn't know he would be here today. She felt oddly thankful for the requirement that all camera crew had to wear a mask, because if Hoe Taek recognized her, things wouldn't end up so well with all the attention. She felt bad that he was back to his trainee days in this brutal survival show, but happy for him too, since he was following his dream.
Then the mentors started to come in - she recognized all of them of course, from Produce 48. Baek Kooyoung, Choi Youngjoon, Lip J, Lee Seok Hoon, Solji, Lim Hanbyeol, and pH-1. They were all really nice people, but they could often give harsh feedback.
Finally, the star level tests started! The Jellyfish trainees were up first, and she saw the buff dude from earlier - he introduced himself as Park Gunwook. Wait, why is he actually kind of good looking, she thought while blushing. She gasped and started smacking her cheeks with her hands. Get a grip! You are a professional camerawoman! You're at your job!
Their performance was stellar, but one thing she noticed is that they couldn't really express their vocals as well because of the intense dancing - the mentors said the same thing, and the group got three stars.
The trainees were at varying levels of expertise; some getting four stars, while others getting none. As she filmed and analyzed the performers, she felt herself looking back to her Produce 48 days with nostalgia. The young eager faces of all the boys reminded her of her younger self, and it made her a little sad she had to give up on her dream.
The four Yueha G group trainees were up next, and like many of the guys there, they all looked so talented and handsome.
"Hi, I'm Zhang Hao, and I'm a musical genuis!" he said.
Oh, he's gorgeous- she thought.
"I'm young and rich, tall and handsome Ricky," the blonde one said as she laughed quietly. Ollie and Brian made their introductions too, and she noticed that they looked so fresh and adorable.
They had an amazing performance, and Zhang Hao even played his violin! Even Y/N admitted that he looked so elegant and talented while doing so.
Next up was the Yueha K group, and they performed the same song excellently. The youngest, Han Yu Jin, who was 16 years old, especially stood out. He has great form, she thought, and the judges echoed what she was thinking.
The star test went by in a blur, and the talented trainees that stood out to her were Seok Matthew, both Hanbins, Keita which she had met a few times before as a trainee, Jay, Ji Woong, and Taerae. She also thought that Kum Jun Hyeon was incredibly hilarious! And finally, Hoe Taek was up on the stage for his performance singing "Shut Down," and he absolutely nailed it! She clapped excitedly, and she was beyond ecstatic for his first win.
Finally, the star test was over, and K group had won the most stars. Y/N, as well as the other staff members, gathered all the trainees in a big group to lead to the dorms. As she was leading the huge group to the building, she dropped her phone and reached down to grab it. Before she knew it, she had bumped heads with Matthew, who was also kneeling down to pick up her phone for her, and as a result her mask fell off.
She blushed, seeing his cute smile and shiny eyes. What a gentleman, she thought. But then his eyes widened. She blinked for a moment, confused, then dread filled her as she realized her face was exposed to all the trainees, all of which probably knew her. Shit.
"Are you-?!?" Matthew choked.
"Wait, isn't that Park Y/N from Produce 48?"
"What's she doing here as a staff member?"
"Wasn't she first in the debut group but left because of an injury?"
As everyone babbled in shock about her past, all the bad memories she'd been trying to forget since the show started flooding back, and her breath became shallow. All the "could haves," the regrets, the future she had dreamed of slipping away, just out of reach. Her friends, that she missed but couldn't see, because they were busy becoming idols without her. Her eyesight became blurry, and she gripped the nearest thing she could find, which was a mans hand. Suddenly, she felt someone bend down beside her, putting their jacket around her shoulders and covering her head to help her calm down.
"Guys, calm down I think she's freaking out. Are you okay Y/N?" said a male voice.
She slowly turned her head up to the speaker, and she gasped. She couldn't believe her eyes.
