"Cheers!" Jiwoong held up his glass of beer in the air.
"CHEERS!" The rest of ZB1 responded, most of them drinking apple juice and water instead.
ZeroBaseOne and Y/N sat in a private booth at a Korean Barbecue restaurant enjoying their night, the sound of laughter and chatter filling the space around them.
Y/N looked over at Hanbin who was smiling and talking with Gyuvin, and she felt a lot better seeing that he recovered from the rejection quickly. I hope he finds the one for him.
Zhang Hao squeezed her hand. "Hey, you should try this," he said, holding meat in his chopsticks.
She raised her eyebrows. "Are you trying to feed me or something?"
Gyuvin covered Yujin's eyes. "Your eyes need to keep their virginity-"
"HEY!" Hao complained, and everyone laughed, and Y/N flushed bright red.
"So... you guys are officially an item," Matthew said, more a statement than a question.
"Of course, and I'll never let her go," he said, half protectively, half in jealousy.
"Hey, hey, calm down, nobody's after your girl," said Jiwoong with a chuckle. "Or, at least, not anymore."
"Let's be real right now," Taerae rolled his eyes while trying to hold back a smile. "Literally, half of the people here liked Y/N at some point."
"Like me," Hanbin said sullenly.
"And me," Matthew said.
"Add me in," Ricky said.
"WHAT!?!?" Y/N and Hao said at the same time.
"I was the person who was putting all the flowers and presents in front of your room during Boy's Planet," Ricky said lightly, then took a bite of some galbi.
"Wait, so that was you!?!?"
"Mhm."
"BACK OFF-" Hao protested, and the rest of ZB1 burst into laughter.
"Bro, chill, it's all in the past," Gyuvin said.
"Anyway..." Y/N changed the topic. "Your debut is going to be soon. How do you feel about it?"
"Nervous," Yujin said. "But excited too. "We're all achieving what we've been working for our entire lives." They all smiled and nodded.
"I also have a special announcement," Y/N said nervously.
"So the thing is..." She fidgeted. "Belift Labs reached out to me recently, saying they wanted to recruit me for their producing team. So I got a new job!!!" There was stunned silence, before everyone burst out into applause, cheers, and congratulations. They engulfed her in the group hug, chanting and laughing and shouting. "OMG I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU Y/N NOONA!!!"
