Y/N laid down in the grass and looked up at the sky while Haruto and Yeonjun braided grass into her hair.
"Okay wait... so you're saying that Hanbin asked you out on a date this afternoon?" said Yeonjun, a smile spreading across his face.
"SEE I WAS RIGHT I TOLD YOU I WAS RIGHT!!!" said Haruto, screeching and dancing. He calmed a little and sat down. "HE LIKES YOUUU THE HARUTO SIXTH SENSE HAS PREVAILED BINY/N SHIP LET'S GOOO." Haruto clapped his hands in happiness.
"Well..." said Y/N pondering. "I'm not sure if he likes me though. These days people ask anyone who interests them on a date even though it's not that way."
"It is that way," Yeonjun and Haruto said simultaneously.
"Wait so, what did you say?" Haruto asked while jostling her shoulder.
"Hm..."
"I'm asking you out on a date, Y/N."
"Wait... is this a joke?" Y/N asked.
"It's not," he said with a serious face. "I genuinely want to spend more time with you, and get to know you better. So, what do you say?" He looked at her expectantly with a shy smile.
"I... I'm sorry," she said, and his face fell.
"I understand..." he said, turning around to leave.
"Wait-!" she ran up to him, and grabbed his hand to stop him from leaving. He turned around with a sad expression on his face. "It's not that I don't like you, or that I don't find you attractive. It's because I don't know you as well, and, well, most of all... you're an idol trainee. I can't take interest or have preferences for any of you guys. And if word ever gets out... I don't want anything to happen to you because of that."
He nodded, and a bit of color started to return to his face. He gathered both her hands in his, and smiled. "I have a favor to ask."
"Anything," she said, smiling back.
"Could you act like this didn't happen? Like, let's not make this awkward, we can still meet and talk and hang out, as long as we don't cross the line?"
"Of course, I would love that," she said, feeling much more relieved.
"Uh yea, sorry about asking you... well, I guess I didn't think it through much."
"Oh, don't worry about it, it's fine," she said, laughing.
Yeonjun and Haruto stared. "Uh...?" said Y/N. "Did I do something wrong?" Suddenly, they all started yelling at her.
