"HEY, STOP RIGHT THERE!"
The silence in the dark woods was cut by a voice, and Y/N opened her eyes, flinching.
Soomin snarled. "If you take one step forward, then I'm going to-"
Her words were cut off by a buzzing noise, then the sound of a body collapsing onto the grass.
A flashlight was turned on, and squinting through the chaos, she could see Detective Heeseung holding a taser and the rest of the police behind him. Suddenly, Zhang Hao quickly pushed his way through the crowd and ran towards her, eyes watery. He gently grabbed her hands with his own that were shaking.
"You're bleeding," said Y/N quietly, touching his face as her eyes wandered to a large bruised area on his forehead that was bleeding from when Soomin knocked him unconscious by slamming the butt of her gun into his head.
"How can you talk about that? You're fucking shot Y/N," Zhang Hao let out, his voice wavering.
"Oh yeah, I forgot." His words suddenly reminded her of the intense pain which she had momentarily set aside when she thought she was going to die minutes ago, and she started to feel dizzy again.
"Please, stay with me. SOMEONE, GET A DOCTOR!" Hao yelled, but she was quickly losing consciousness.
The last thing she remembered was seeing Soomin, who was passed out on the grass, being handcuffed.

Y/N's eyes fluttered open, and she realized her entire body felt sore. "Fuck, what happened?" she said.
Her eyes adjusted and she looked around the room, realizing that she was in a hospital room, and she groaned. "Why am I always here? I hate this place," she said, smacking her forehead with her palm. "It's almost like it's supposed to be my second home or something."
She realized someone was holding her hand, and she looked down, seeing Zhang Hao sleeping on a chair next to her hospital bed, fingers intertwined with hers. Suddenly, the memories of everything that had happened came back, and she lifted her shirt up in a panic. When she saw that the place where the bullet had hit her had been stitched shut, she let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank god..." She quietly got out of bed, taking care not to wake Zhang Hao up, and she removed the IV tube before getting her phone from the night stand beside her. Taking one last look around the room, she silently sneaked out of the room.
