The nights are long and dark,
As I lie here in my bed.
My thoughts drift to you, my love,
And the tears start to shed.

I miss the way you laugh,
The way you smile so bright.
I miss the way you hold my hand,
And make everything alright.

I miss the way you look at me,
With those beautiful, shining eyes.
I miss the way you kiss me,
And make my heart come alive.

The days are empty without you,
And my heart is filled with pain.
I long to hold you close again,
And feel your love again.

I know that distance keeps us apart,
But my love for you remains.
I will wait for you, my dear,
Until we're together again.

Until then, I'll close my eyes,
And imagine you're here with me.
I'll hold onto the memories we shared,
And dream of what could be.

Missing you hurts so much,
But I know that love will prevail.
I will wait for you, my love,
Until we're together again.
