Dib woke up in a lot of pain, he was confused and scared, all he could see is a concrete ceiling above him. "Wh-where am I?" was all he could muster up. He tried to get but but was only meet will an incredible pain in his lower back. "Hey, woah don't move too much you might pull a muscle." Dib couldn't see who was talking to him all he knew was that whoever was talking they were a woman. "Who a-are what do you want with me?" Dib asked scared that he was about to be killed. "My name is Triel Lawrence I found you in the forest badly hurt so I brought you home and patched you up." Dib was so surprised but he was super happy he was meeting one of the most important paranormal investigators in the world, she was adopted by Mothman himself! "Oh my god! It's so nice to meet you!" Dib said excitedly "By the way is it true you get adopted by Mothman himself or is that one of those lame lies I see everywhere about you?" "It's true actually, Mothman found me when I was really young I was all alone and he felt really bad for me so he took me to see all the cryptids and announced that he was going to take me in." Triel said with a huge smile "Wow that's awesome. Oh! Actually do mind if I take a photo with you so I can remember I met you?" Triel smiled at him "I don't mind." Dib and Triel took a photo and it looked great, probably one of the best photos he's ever taken. Dib looked at the time he thought it would be best if he got home. "Hey um can you take me home please, if you don't mind." Triel gave him a sad look and said "I wish could but you broke your leg and can't go home." Dib was appalled he couldn't believe it. "Wait why didn't you take me to a hospital?" Triel looked to the side in shame "Oh I'm not allowed to go near a hospital that's why." Triel gave a nervous laugh. "Oh right forget about that." Dib said looking at Triel like she was his only friend. Dib reached for his phone but it was not in his pocket "Do you know where my phone is?" "Oh! Yes here." Triel said while giving Dib his phone back "I found it on the ground next to you and grabbed it." "Thank you, you are a life saver!" Dib said while looking at his phone, there was no notifications, no missed calls, nothing. Dib was confused he had been gone for at least 5 to 6 hours but no one called to make sure he was ok, it's like they didn't care at all. Dib tried not to get upset in front of his idol but it was difficult "Hey are you ok? you look your about to cry." Triel said with the most concern, a lot more than he's ever received. "It's just that my Dad hasn't called me it's like his doesn't care about me." Dib said breaking into tears "I-I just wish he would have a little consideration for me for once." Dib said super mad "I feel ya man, my parents left me to die here." "Oh yeah they abandoned you, that's really messed up especially when you where only just 2 years old." Triel lauged "I'm glad someone understands, anyway you should tell someone where you are so they won't get worried because I'm not having a whole swat team on my ass because they thought you got kidnapped or something." Dib laughed he had never met someone so cool in his life. Dib sat up and called his sister " Hey Gaz, yes I'm ok, oh..." Dib looked upset more upset then he was before "What's wrong kid?" Triel asked curiously "yeah see you tomorrow." Dib came to the realization as to why he had ran off in the first place, he was going to be put in a mental hospital. "I-you can't let me go home please I can't go home." Dib pleaded. "Why?" "Because my dad was going to send me to a mental hospital and make me stay there for 2 years please you have to do something." Triel knew how harsh Professor Membrane was, she was friends with him. " It's ok I will keep him away from you." "Promise?" Triel gave a sweet and soft smile "promise."
