I step outside and Louis is waiting in a short limo with the door opened. I step in and the driver closes the door behind me, wow this is so nice, but what else would I expect from a man like this.
I have to admit this is weird because I just met him and he's my boss and all of this but I would do anything for him honestly. As I'm gazing out looking at the passers and signs I feel a hand settle on my thigh and shift my eyes and see Louis comfortably sitting and looking out of the other window. He looks over and gives me a little smile, "thank you so much for doing this Carmen, it really means a lot." I smile and shrug my shoulders, "really if you need anything I'm happy to help" he looks back out of the window and so do I.
A few more minutes pass, we pull up to the restaurant, "The Ryman" I read, I notice set up tables out front and lights lining the poles and trees outside of it, it looks so nice, I bet it's expensive. as I climb out Louis comes to the other side and walks arm in arm with me, maybe this is more serious than I thought. A man opens the door and we're welcomed by a gust of warm air and the smell of lavender and vanilla. It's so beautiful in here, I never have been to such a nice place. Louis guides me to a table with a couple of people that I'm guessing are his boss and friend with their dates. Both of them are so handsome I feel overwhelmed, and the girls are absolutely stunning, I feel so out of place. They were all staring me down as Louis pulled out my chair and I sat thanking him. "Everyone this is Carmen, Carmen this is Harry, my boss, Zayn, my good friend, and their lovely dates, Alexa and Emily." I smile at all of them with a small "hello" and they all smile back with "nice to meet you's." The waiter comes back and I order a water. I can still see Harry, the boss, well my boss too now I guess. staring at me though. It wasn't a mean glare but it was a curious one. I was curious too I have to say. "Ahem, Carmen? I have to ask, how do you know Louis?" Zayn asks me. "Actually-"
I'm cut off by Louis words, "We met at The Club." They all look toward me, "Yeah that's right." I look down at my menu and everything looks so good, chicken parmesan, duck couscous, spinach macaroni dish, and much more, ugh there's so much to choose from. "I think I'll have the spinach macaroni please." I smile to the waiter while he writes my order then turns to Louis "And you sir?" Louis just looks at the menu and closes it, "I think it'll have to be a toasted sesame salad thank you." the waiter rushes away and it falls into an awkward silence. I still see Harry staring and try so hard to ignore it, what's wrong with this guy? Louis speaks up "Oi, Harry what's the news on the renovations?" Harry shifts his eyes to Louis and sits back in his chair,"haven't heard much but there should be a contractor coming in Monday morning to check out all of the areas that need to be fixed and all of that." Louis nods and looks to me, "Carmen here is going to be one of the new dancers there, she's going to be our top dancer, I can feel it" he gives me a warm smile and nod. I look down and play with a piece of my hair feeling slightly under pressure. "Ahhh so you must be great for Lou to say that!" Zayn says as he lets out a slight chuckle. I follow the laugh, "Well it's an honor to hear that I guess, I will definitely try my best." Harry sits up ,"Yeah I'll definitely have to be the judge of that." and smirks. Oh no now I'm going to be judged even more, but I'm not as nervous as I love to dance. Louis looks at Harry, "You won't be let down I'm telling you sir."
Here comes the real pressure, not even from the audience I'll have, but from Harry.
