Give me your hand

SEUNGMIN:

"Well damn, I forgot to study.. Should I just ditch class?" I grinned.

Leeknow looked at me in disbelief, "Are you stupid? This counts for 40% of our entire semester grade-"
I rolled my eyes, "Screw that, It's not like I'll need history to become a doctor."

Leeknow stared at me with his intimidating eyes again, and smacked me on the head.

I rubbed my head feeling a bit dizzy. I then heard leeknow whisper in my ear, "Suit yourself stupid".

I scoffed at Leeknow after he left and decided that I was gonna ditch class wether anyone liked it or not.

- - - - - - 1 hr later

As I walked around the shops, I looked at the time before widening my eyes.
Class would end in ten minutes, I have to go back now or I'll miss my health class.

As I sprinted back to school, I was entering the door when I heard a sloud slam. I went downstairs to investigate.

JEONGIN:

"I promise, I don't have money", I felt my head get smashed against the locker door.

"You best not be lying.. Or I will make sure you never open your eyes again. Got that?!" I felt them searching my pockets while someone else held me by the neck.

I couldn't breathe well and I felt like I was gonna pass out.

"YOU FUCKING LIED TO ME? WHO DO YOU THINK YOUR ARE?!"

I squinted my eyes as he held out a $20 bill which I assumed he had stolen from me.

I had no intention nor strength to fight back, my eyes grew heavy. I couldn't see it but I knew I was about to get knocked out.

"LEAVE HIM ALONE"

I felt my neck being released from their grip.

Everything around me turned dark and I was about to hit the floor when I felt my head hit on someone's hand.

"Thank God", I thought to myself before passing out.

- - - - - Some time later

I fought with my eyes as they tried to shut. As I turned my head I felt a sharp pain and shouted.

I sniffled a bit, it hurt alot. A boy rushed in and sat next to me, "You alright? The names seungmin by the way".

I looked at him, his voice sounded like the one who helped me earlier on at the lockers.

I felt myself lost in his gaze, I was so thankful that he helped me.

As I was lost In my thoughts, he tilted his head, "Hello?". I shook my head to snap myself out of my daydream before groaning at the head pain.

"Sorry, my names Jeongin. You can call me Jeongin." I gasped, 'shoot, I was meant to say I.N'.

Seungmin muffled a laugh, "Alright Jeongin, I guess your still not in your right headspace. Anyway, I need to head to class", he waddled out of the room just like a puppy.

'Gosh, he's kinda cute'..

- - - - After school

As I went to my locker to get my bag, I saw seungmin again.

He was laughing with his friends. I smiled before brushing it off, 'cmon Jeongin, you don't even know if he's different like you.

He might be into girls so you shouldn't let your guard down like that'. As I snapped out of my thoughts, I saw Seungmin tilt his head at me, "A penny for your thoughts?".

I stumbled back a bit in shock. Seungmin sighed, "Sorry, did I scare you?" I felt his hand pat my shoulder.

"Uh- no, yea uhm I m-mean- I uhh. THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME EARLIER ON-", I felt my face go hot, I turned around and ran outside before bumping into a classmate.

"I'm so sorry-", I quickly picked up his stuff for him and ran off. 'God that's embarrassing.

I don't think I can face him ever again', i burried my head into my hands.

SEUNGMIN:

In health class, it was the first time I wasn't focusing. I kept thinking about Jeongin.

I hoped he didn't get hurt too much, plus, he's new so I assume he doesn't have friends.

I decided to become friends with him before dividing my attention back to the teacher.

- - - - After school

The bell rang as I typed enter on my computer.

'Easy.'

As I left the room, I remembered I had to make friends with Jeongin.

On the way back to my locker, I bumped into leeknow and jisung. "Heyyy" ,I smiled at Jisung. I saw Leeknow roll his eyes at the corner of my eye.

I smirked, "Soooo, you two have been ExtRa close to each other. Anything you wanted to tell me?" I grinned.
Leeknow gave me the deathstare, "W-what? No. Mind your business you menace!"

I pretended to make a sad face and decided to tease him, "How could you say that to your best friend?"

I saw jisung giggling at our interaction and I laughed along. "Well, I gotta go now", I bumped into Jisung, making him tumble onto Leeknow.

"OoPs", I ran off to my locker before I got my mouth stuffed with tissues. As I grabbed my bag, still looking at jisung and leeknow being flustered, I saw Jeongin with his black eye.

He seemed to be daydreaming and I think I scared him when I went up to him.

Anywho, I definitely tried to communicate with him but I guess he got shy and ran away.

'He is really adorable now when I think of it'

I shook my head to snap out of it.

- - - - Next day

I felt so dang tired that day.

I ruffled my hair before putting my glasses on.

I checked my timetable for that day on my phone.

'I have two free study periods for health? I've never gotten below an A for health so I don't think I need to study.

I'll just go ask leeknow if he can hang out with me instead. "Breakfast is ready~", I heard my ma (mum) calling me down for breakfast.

I was starving so I quickly got ready and ran to the kitchen.

"Alright Seungmin, stop stuffing your face with more waffles. Finish the one in your mouth first".. I think she said that.

I was too busy wolfing down the waffles. As I was finishing up, I forgot that I had school.

"Ma, I have to leave now, love you", I hopped out of the house, trying to tie my shoelace at the same time.

*School bell rings*

"Wow seungmin, just on time. I thought you dropped your car keys down a drain", Leeknow grinned.

I scoffed at him, "Anyways, I have two free study periods for health. Wanna hang out with me?"
Leeknow turned around and walked off without acknowledging my question.

"Fine, I'll ask hyunjin", I pouted before mocking Leeknow.
But he suddenly turned around and I immediately pretended to look at my nails.

"Hyunjins not here today, he has band practice", Leeknow turned around again and walked off. 'So there's no one I can hang out with?'
