Jealousy

SEUNGMIN:

"Uhm, should I just leave?"
I gritted my teeth as I watched Felix and Hyunjin avoid eye contact.

Felix clung onto my hand, "Hey Seungmin, let's go on a walk"

Before I got to say anything, Felix pulled me out of the bathroom.

We walked in circles around the running track.

Felix was completely zoned out, so I decided to talk to him.

"So about what happened earlier-", I slowed down my walked pace.

Felix reciprocated by slowing his walking speed, "Oh- uhmm, yea"

I pulled Felix to the bleachers, "Felix, I think we should talk about this. If that's alright with you"

Felix hesitantly nodded, "I guess it's only fair that I share my life with you. Afterall, you told me about yours"

I smiled, "So, now you know that Hyunjin, y'know, loves you in that way"

I stopped talking, it felt kind of awkward.

"I don't know, I've never been in love before. And I've only ever seen Hyunjin as a friend", Felix looked away.

"It's ok Felix, cry if you have to. No one's watching", I patted Felix's back as he started to cry.

"I-i don't k-know. I d-dont want m-my friendship with H-hyunjin to be... r-ruined", Felix trembled a bit.

I pulled Felix into a hug, "It's okay Felix. Hyunjin has loved you for too long to give up on you"

I pulled away from the hug, holding Felix by his shoulders, "Wait, does that mean that you don't love Hyunjin back?"

Felix paused, "What? No, of course I love him. I just don't know if its okay for us to be an item? I don't know, it's too pressurising for me"

My jaw dropped slightly, "Are you serious? You do know that Hyunjin has loved you for like 8 years straight right? What's stopping you?"

Felix pouted, "He never Let's me have any friends, he always chases them away. Also what do you mean by 8 years?"

I shook my head and sighed, "Felix, he's been courting you without you knowing, that's why he's so protective over you. Honestly, I don't blame him. It's been 8 years Felix, why don't you give him a chance?"

"Hes loved me for 8 years?" Felix began to sniffle again.

"I'm gonna go check on Hyunjin, you should sort yourself out first", I gave Felix one more hug before looking for Hyunjin.

On my way to the bathroom again, I saw Jeongin and that nurse girl together.

'Are they dating or something?'

I shook my head, it can't be. That nurse girl is older than him, not by a huge gap, but still.

I got distracted and ran up to Jeongin, "Hey, how are you doing?"

He frowned at me and looked away, "Anyways, Jennie, we should meet up at the park"

My smile dropped, 'Are they really dating?'

As I snapped back into reality, Jeongin and that girl were already far ahead. I shouldn't feel like this, but I do.

I slowly walked towards the bathroom, "Hyunjin?"

I saw Hyunjin curled up into a little ball on the floor.

"Hyunjin, are you alright?"

Hyunjin looked up at me, his face was stained with tears, "No! Felix doesn't love me at all. He walked away once he found out!"
