One week before Christmas. Monday Night. Snowing season. The Christmas mood was in full swing. Lots of houses have been decorated with variations of Christmas decor. The same could be said to Eddie's house, except he didn't have that much stuff. Just Christmas lights on the fence along with one snowman that he somehow managed to build.
Inside the house, Eddie was laying on the sofa, watching the TV. Sophia was on her phone, calling with her sister Elena. They were discussing plans for the upcoming Christmas.
It's been quite a while ever since the Keegan siblings reunion, approximately one or two months or more. Addyson was currently 2 months pregnant, while Max got himself a small movie role in Hollywood after a big-shot filmmaker spotted him. Although it wasn't much, he was thankful. As for Eddie and Sophia, well, one week after the reunion, Sophia decided to move in with Eddie, staying at his house. With his help, she brought all her stuff to his house and they settled on his room. Since then, they have been enjoying living together.
"So no outsiders, right? Just us." Sophia said to Elena, making sure of the plan.
"Yeah," Elena replied, "you, me, papa, mama, and grandma. Just the five of us. Well... unless you're gonna bring your boyfriend... hehehe"
A small blush crept on Sophia's cheeks, "Yeah... yeah, I'll inform mom before the day."
"Alright, or you can let me know too. I'll be home like 3 or 4 days before Christmas. I'm still dealing with college stuff, but that's a piece of cake. Oh, yeah also, knowing papa, he might do a last minute surprise by bringing his best friend."
"Ah... yeah, don't worry about him. He won't bring a lot of friends," Sophia assured her sister.
"Okay then," a noise can be heard from Elena's background noise, someone was calling her name, "alright, my friend's calling me. I gotta go. Love you, sis, bye."
"Alright. Love you too, bye." Sophia hung up the phone as she walked to the sofa where Eddie was laying. She raised Eddie's head a little bit and sat on the sofa, while putting his head on her lap. Immediately a smile was on his face, feeling really cozy with his head on his girlfriend's lap.
"Do you have any plans on Christmas Day?" she asked, playing with his hair.
Eddie turned his head a little to her, "Not much. On the 24th I'll spend time with Addyson and Max. The day after, nothing."
"Ah... okay. Well... I'll be heading back home on the 25th," Sophia paused for a moment while biting her lip, before she proceeded to ask, "do you ehm... wanna come with me?"
Turning his body to her as he sat up, he smiled, "Of course. I don't see why not."
"Well... I wanna take you to meet my parents so..." she fumbled, lost for words. But Eddie kissed her forehead and pinched her nose.
"Nothing to worry about. If I can impress you, why not your parents?" Eddie teased her.
Sophia hit him slightly in the chest, "Stop it."
He just laughed as she got off the sofa pouting but not before he grabbed her wrist and pinned her on the sofa, her arms above her head, causing her to gasp. Their heads a mere inch close to each other, their eyes connected. Sophia couldn't help it but to blush seeing Eddie winked at her. Their lips intertwined as they made out on the sofa.
