Time has passed. Months have passed. Days have come and gone.
It has been a while Eddie and Sophia had known each other, dated each other, and loved each other. Through better and worse.
Ever since the day Eddie was bestowed blessings from Sophia's parents and grandmother, he has been feeling like he's the luckiest person ever in his life, to date a beautiful woman who was none other than Sophia.
Two days after New Year, Sophia's residence was left with Stephen, Rita and Lois. Joseph returned back to his duty, flying back to D.C. Elena returned back to her college. And the lovebirds returned to Keegan's residence, where Sophia resumed her teaching duty and Eddie returned to helping Mr. Brooks at his auto shop. Helping him aside, Eddie would take his break time to work on his writings: Silver Sparrow, an action-thriller novel partially based on his life.
Fortunately, with the help of Eddie's former classmate who's an editor at a famous book publishing company, he was able to get his book published by the company. Although initially Eddie was very skeptical about the book, as it turned out, the book was able to garner a decent amount of readers, and it steadily grew in numbers. Slowly and steadily Eddie became a known author, with lots of critics praising the book. Due to Silver Sparrow's success, Eddie continued to write more, thus creating a series of stories which he named Phantom Wings.
Few months later. It was almost graduation day for Billy and his friends. Today the class had done all their final examinations and stuff so they were doing nothing. In other words it was their free time. Sophia was not present in the class because she was with Anne in the teacher's office room. Eddie used this moment to sneak into the class and found dozens of eyes staring into them, closing the door shut.
"Oh looky here," Lena said, "It's Mr. Lover Man."
The class were laughing but confused as Eddie shushed them down.
"Keep quiet." He peeked out of the class, making sure that no other teacher or Sophia was in sight, as he returned back and stood in front of the class.
"I have something I want to say."
Their interests were piqued as all of them quiet down and paid attention to what Eddie had to say. Even little Eddie who was usually busy with his own doodles also paid attention.
"Alright then," Owen said, "we're listening."
Rubbing his hands altogether, Eddie began to explain his plans but not before apologizing to the students.
"Okay so... First, I wanna apologize about what occurred in the previous months. I just hope you can all forgive me."
"We have," Damian replied, "please don't worry about it. Now continue."
"Alright then," he nodded, continuing, "so I guess you all know Ms. Gardner's birthday is in three days, right?"
The whole class nodded.
"Good, have you guys prepared any surprises? Gifts?"
Now they all shook their heads.
"We are mostly just going to prepare gifts," Lena answered, "it won't be much, though. Not all of us can get her fancy gifts, no offense though."
"That's not really a problem, if you asked me," Eddie questioned. "You guys are literally her favorites. I don't think she won't appreciate what you guys give her. Trust me."
"Of course we trust you, sir," Casey piped in, "You're her boyfriend after all."
Soon everybody started teasing Eddie, "Oooohhhhh..."
"Okay okay." Eddie stopped them, before continuing explaining, "I have thought of a plan. Been thinking about it in the previous days. One for her birthday, and one for... other surprise."
