"Childe?" Lumine whispered, sitting right next to Childe at the top of Mount Hulao. 

Smiling, Childe answered her question. "What, my dear traveller?"

"Why are we here?"

"Why, Traveller would you like to know?" Childe practically breathed in her ear.

Lumine froze up, and all the blood rushed to her head as she blushed bright red like a tomato, right after feeling the warm gusts of Childe inhaling and exhaling, making her feel flustered but comforted at the same time.

"O-of course C-childe. I-I really want to know." Lumine managed to stutter out, although still flustered.

"Well, traveller, you mean the world to me. I've always felt something special for you ever since I met you." Childe replied flirtily, his eyes in a romantic gaze, fixated upon Lumine's glowing golden eyes. Lumine stared right back into his, entranced by his short but mesmerising speech.

"Can you guess what that special feeling is?" Childe whispered loudly, so only Lumine could hear. His hand was now creeping up Lumine's cheek, leaving her with a tingly sensation on her skin, making her heart flutter and her cheeks grow redder, the colour of a Jueyun Chilli.

"It's love. It's love traveller. The one thing that drove the population to expand. The main reason the Fatui still has soldiers. The main reason why you and I exist. It's love." Childe finally said, in a exceedingly seductive voice.

At this point, Lumine was too shocked to speak. Her heart and mind were screaming and fangirling.

"Someone so hot, powerful and cool, someone so daddy material, wants to be mine? EAEAEAEEEE!!!!!" her brain shouted.

"OMG FINALLY! AFTER SO LONG! EEK! HE LOVES US!" her heart joined in.

Lumine opened and closed her mouth, like a fish out of water.

"Traveler, I love you." Childe said.

That was all it took. Lumine now had all she ever wanted. Childe loved her, and was confessing. It was only right for her to do the same.

"C-childe..."

"Yes, darling?" Childe replied.

"I feel the same way... Childe, I share your feelings. Ever since you saved me from the Millelith, I've always thought you were cool, cute and everything a woman could ask for in a man. Well, you did trick me though, and your part of the Fatui, I guess I'll deduct some point from kindness, and loyalty, and add on the chaos, and trickery but..." Lumine started.

"Did you really have to mention the theft of Morax's gnosis? I didn't even steal it!" Childe whined, then pouted. 

Lumine laughed heartily, and grabbed Childe's hand placing it firmly on its original position on her face, as said hand was slowly but surely snaking down her face, but Lumine wanted this moment to last forever.

"Well, anyway, after that, you've been kinda cool. Although there were other incidents that happened after that concerned you..." Lumine attempted to continue.

"How about we just leave the topic of Fatui alone okay? Please." Childe begged like a child. (cyno joke btw)

Lumine chuckled. "Okay, if you say so then, Childe. Anyway, you've had my heart since the start. I've always loved you, too."

Childe nodded, the seductive look coming back onto his face. "That was quite the speech, traveller." he remarked.

Lumine smiled with her teeth, then realised something. "Wait, did I say 'You've had my heart from the start'?!?! That rhymed! Oops. Have I become Venti or something?"

Childe could not help but crack yet another smile at Lumine's goofiness. "No, I don't really think so. You don't look to me like an extremely short archon, let alone a heavily drunk 'Tone-deaf bard'."

"Hehe. Thank you." Lumine responded.

"I have a present for you, traveller." Childe finally said out, after a long period of awkward silence and staring into each others eyes.

"Hmm?" Lumine mumbled.

"Come closer."

"Okay."

"Traveler, I love you."

"I love you too." she replied.

All of a sudden, Childe smirked and pulled Lumine's face closer to his. Their hands still on Lumine's cheek, Childe used that hand to tilt her head up and pushed his face into hers.

All Lumine felt and saw was her face getting dragged closer and closer to Childe's handsome, perfect face, before she felt his soft lips touch hers. Her eyes widened and the blood once again, rushed to Lumine's head and made her face bright red again.

Lumine slowly melted into his kiss, his awkward, comforting embrace. Relaxing her widened eyes, but still holding that kiss, she studied Childe's face. His perfectly chiseled features tied in to his alluring aura, and with his eyes closed, he looked peaceful. Like an angel from the heavens. 

She slowly lifted her hands and set them gently on Childe's broad shoulders. She pushed herself even deeper into his face and they held there. Neither of them wished to let go. This golden moment would last forever. 

Finally, when Lumine and Childe let go to catch their breath, roughly two minutes later.

"There's a first time for everything, isn't there?" Childe whispered.

Lumine nodded vigorously.

"I'm glad you were my first kiss." Lumine said.

"I'm certainly grateful for that too." 

"So, after that..." Childe waved his hands in the air. "Will you date me?"

Lumine felt a warm sensation flow through her body and excitement filled her. Upon seeing Childe standing up, and his outstretched hand beckoning to help her get up as well, she only had one word on her mind.

"What's your answer, soon-to-be girl of mine? What's your answer? Yes, or no?" Childe pestered, wanting to force an answer out as soon as possible. 

Lumine took a deep breath, ready to answer.

"YES!"

Paimon watched, hidden behind a mound of rocks. Just five minutes ago, she had gone through all fives stages of grief, but in a good way. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. She still found it disgusting having to witness her best friend kiss a man- no a VILLAIN.

At least Lumine would have a lover now, the mysterious floating creature, best guide in Teyvat, "Emergency Food" Paimon thought happily to herself.

At least...
