Chimeras are genetically modified beings created by Yoseph Calvert using humans and Grimm Liquid. They are given mechanical enhancements that make them look like machines. They also retain some of their intelligence but still act no different from the Grimm. Yoseph created them in an attempt to restore Humanity's magic and destroy the Brother Gods.
