I'll Be A Savior (RWBY x Scarlet Nexus x Xenoblade 2)

Begin Initiation

Yuito POV:

I didn't sleep. How could I sleep? Every time I do, I re-live the war. Everybody I loved dying before my eyes. The whole fuckin' apocalypse. I will save them this time. Lanz, Eunie, and Karen ended up in this world; Could Kasane and the others also be here?

Karen also didn't sleep, he wanted to stop Salem at any cost. We spent the whole night Brain Talking after everyone went to sleep. We've been planning non-stop about what actions to take and what to change. Nothing is identical, but there's a good chance that at least some of the major events will remain the same.

Brain Talk

Karen: Sun's coming up. We should wake the others and plan in the locker rooms. We need a few hours away from Brain Talk.

Yuito: Yeah. I'm starting to forget how to talk. I should also get Azurda.

Karen: Okay.

Brain Talk End

We wake the others up and sneak out of the Ballroom without waking up anyone else. We go to the Locker rooms and use our scrolls to plan our actions during the Initiation. We manage to find the geographical map of the Emerald Forest and decide how to go from there.

Yuito: This world doesn't have the technology to create satellites, but the Cross Continental Transmit System should allow us to track each other's locations.

Karen: Luckily these scrolls can be used as a conduit to the system. The terrain is identical so we shouldn't have too much trouble getting around.

Lanz: Walk around for a few minutes, play a little, and avoid other people till we regroup.

Eunie: Sounds like a plan.

Karen: And Yuito, try to refrain from putting on your mask. They'll get suspicious if you put on that mask and suddenly all of us regroup so fast.

Yuito: Right. Plan has been set.

We all close out scrolls and Lanz puts his arm on my shoulder while Eunie leans against me.

Lanz: Yuito "Rex" Sumeragi. World's greatest GSF Cadet.

Eunie: Couldn't have asked for a better Leader.

Karen: I think you'd be qualified as a Spetentrion.

Yuito: I don't deserve this.

Eunie: That humility is why you do deserve this.

Yuito: Just... Be ready for anything.

Lanz: Always.

I walk away and notice Azurda wanting to say something so I opened my jacket a little.

Azurda: I'm glad you're not overconfident, but having little confidence can be just as bad.

Yuito: Even after trying so hard, and overcoming all the obstacles that came my way, I failed.

Azurda: That's why your friends are here, to help you. Someone as old as me has learned that not everyone can say that.

Yuito: Thanks, Gramps.

Azurda nods and goes back inside my jacket.

I keep walking and see a tangerine-haired girl and a black-haired boy with a pink highlight.
