After a while, Kelpie finally found herself in front of the Granite Winglet. The sign looked like it was made of granite itself, and some of the walls had chunks of granite in it. There was quartz that glowed brightly with fireflies inside that were twirled into a sharp tip. Here and there, there was a painting or a window that made the cave feel more alive. "This place is beautiful..." murmured Kelpie. "Sure is, huh?" Said a familiar voice behind her. She whipped around, almost hitting the sandwing with her big lime tail. "What are you doing?!" Kelpie exclaimed. "Shouldn't you be in YOUR WINGLET?" Kelpie shook the map in front of the sandwing menacingly. The sandwing pushed the scroll down, then smiled and laughed. "I am in the Granite Winglet, silly!" He stuck out a talon to Kelpie. One talon had a gold ring with a glass compartment holding sand that shaped into a long, slithering snake. Kelpie held out her talon and shook talons with him. His scales were warm, like most sandwing scales. "May I see your map?" Questioned Kelpie. The sandwing pulled out a map that looked like Kelpie's but had an orange-ish gold ribbon.
She opened it and found his name was Horizon, and that he was in the cave across from hers. "See you later, Kelpie!" Horizon said when they had talked for a bit while walking to the caves. "Get your wing fixed!" Kelpie smiled and walked into the glowing cave. There two beds, one hammock that was made of vine and bamboo (possibly for a rainwing?), and the other was a bear's fur coat that had folded to make a sleeping bag sort of compartment. Kelpie looked around and saw a big window covered in leaves next to the hammock and a shelf for scrolls. The whole cave itself was about fifteen dragons wide and twenty-four dragons lo- WAIT I CAN'T BE DOING MATH NOW! NO. I DON'T DESERVE TO BE HERE I SHOULD BE AT JADE MOUNTAIN WITH THE OTHER SEAWINGS! Kelpie shook herself and put the map in one of the slots next to her bed. "HEY GET BACK HERE!" Shouted a definitely angry voice. "You have to get into your cave!" A silkwing ran by so quickly that Kelpie couldn't even tell what color she was, but she did know that the foreign dragon from the other side of the dragon world was yellow. "BLOOM PLEASE!" The dragon's voice echoed off the walls of the cave and eventually could no longer be heard. Kelpie sighed and shut her eyes to sleep just for a little while. Only for a little bit...
"Hey! Dragon! Wake up!" exclaimed a young dragonet. "Pleeeeeeeeeeeease wake up! I am lonelyyyyyyyyyyy." Kelpie opened her eyes slowly to a yellow silkwing, who sounded young but had her wings fully grown, meaning she wasn't that young. She had deeper yellow triangles next to her eyes, and on her wings, there was a big sun surrounded by geometrical shapes. "What?" Kelpie murmured sleepily. "Oh! GOOD! I thought you were, you know." She took a talon and made it look like she was decapitating herself. She laughed gleefully. "Who are you? I am Yellow, because I am well, YELLOW!" She wiggled her wings and ran to grab a cage with a scavenger inside, which was looking at a rectangle with paper inside. "It is one of those scavengers! I named this one Bloom!" She looked inside of the cage, and the scavenger jumped and hid in a cave that was glowing with a tiny scavenger sized fire. Yellow had made the cage really nice for Bloom. The cave had little windows and a door and small wood logs. There was a small bucket of food on a hook and a tub of water. She made sure that Bloom would feel safe, and all I could probably do would be to even find a place for the scavenger to sleep and hope it wouldn't run away. "Well, seawing, what is your name? Tell me it unless you are fine with me going around, like, "HEY, MEET MY BESTIE HER NAME IS SEAWING. I KNOW REAL ORIGINAL BUT SHE IS MY BFF!" She put the cage down on a small ledge next to her hammock, then came back to lift Kelpie up. "My name is Kelpie, and I am named it because my parents named me it and you have no authority over me thank you very much." She flashed her scales lightly, just to wake her up a bit. "WOAH! How did you DO that! It was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! If I hadn't seen a rainwing before, I would say that was THE MOST beautiful thing ever, no offense, Kelpie." She smirked and helped Kelpie up more. Kelpie yawned and walked over to the shelf of scrolls. "I heard that there were pretty good scrolls here... which are nice, but I am not really the one to read, I like eating much more." She looked at a scroll titled 𝓣𝓗𝓔 𝓔𝓖𝓖 𝓞𝓕 𝓣𝓡𝓤𝓣𝓗. "Hm, this looks interesting, I guess..." Yellow looked over her shoulder and sprinted to Kelpie. "Ooh! Can you please read that story! I promise I will be quiet!" Kelpie sighed, then she unrolled the scroll and took in a deep breath.
