the today girls do not fall for the today boys - no, much too perfect, much too unbroken.
but the yesterday boys, well.
with their skinny jeans and ripped shirts, empty eyes and cigarette-stained breaths, depressed thoughts and alcohol addictions, they're all that these girls could have hoped for and more.
they're still around, not quite dead yet. but these boys are only surviving on the life that the today girls shove down their throats. they refuse to let these hopeless cases go, instead dragging them forward, forward, forward.
yesterday is creeping into today, and soon, will take over tomorrow*.
(but hey, that's a whole different uprising altogether).
