Don't ask if I'm happy you know that I'm not

A light wind caressed Amity's face what made her wake up and shudder.

- I forgot about the window - she tought to herself, she slowly got up, put her cat sleepers on and closed the window. It was morning already, around 8.

The birds were chirping and sun was shining above The Boiling Isles showing just how beautiful the Deamon Realm could be.

She turned around and looked at her girlfriend sleeping peacefully. She could see that there were dried marks on her cheeks, from crying, what made her worry.

- I should make breakfast for us - she slowly closed the door behind her to not wake Luz up.

Amity looked inside the fridge trying to find something that she could make. Luz's mom teached her how to make some easy human food if she ever wanted to try it herself and it became helpful in the future as she lived with Luz. Camila also gave her a cooking book with some of her own recipes mostly about cakes.

- Hm... Eggs, some of this green stuff... I think I've got it right -

She opened the book and did as it said in it. She tried to do an omlet, it wasn't the first time she was making it since Luz told her it was her favorite thing to eat in the morning, and of course Amity just had to be the best in doing it.

She still had problems with cracking the eggs and not burning the omlet but she was trying at least and as Luz once said to her "that's all that metters"

I crack was heard from the wooden stairs they had in the house, and after a short time Amity felt familiar warm hands on her waist.

"Mornin' hermosa..." Luz whispered to her ear making Amity blush.

"Good morning sweetie, are you feeling better?" Amity leaned her back on Luz's torso reciving a kiss on her cheek.

"Yeah... Thank you"

"No problem baby" She turned her head to the side and kissed Luz shortly.

"What's that amazing smell? Is it you or the delicious food you're making?" Luz gave her girlfriend a masive snif what made Amity chuckle a little "Mhh... I think it's both"

"You're so silly" Amity turned off the stove and took a spatula to jer hand "I'm almost done you can go sit at the table"

"Do I have to go?" Luz thighed her hug.

"Well you're kinda restricing my movement right now"

"Ugh... Fine, but we'll cuddle as soon as your done" Luz sleepily left Amity at the kitchen, dragging her feet tiredly.

"Here's your breakfast, omlet and some tea, 2 spoons of sugar as you like" Amity put the plate in front of her girlfriend proudly.

"Dang it smeels and looks amazing Amity, thank you for the meal" Luz said "Now come here I need hugs"

"But you need to eat—"

"I'll eat with you on my lap, you look so cute with that apron on" Luz took Amity's hand and made her sit on her lap.

"L–Luz you're embarrassing me" Amity hid her face in Luz's neck and hug her head.

"Sorry sweet potato" she giggled "Say aaa" Amity opned her mouth and bit the omlet that Luz gave her.

"Wow, it's really good, better than the previous one"

"My awesome girlfriend cooks the best" luz enjoyed her food and tea occasionally feeding Amity.

"It was delicious. Thank you Ami, you're amazing"

"You're welcome" Luz gave Amity a kiss and stood from her chair. "So what's the plan for today?"

"Well... I though that we could go on a little date today"
