5- surprise

It was dark. Only the faint sound of footsteps could be heard.
Anne, Edward and Leo were walking towards a specific house, Edward's house.

After this traumatic experience, the 3 of them didn't want to stay in the house. It was creepy.

Edward had a brother that could help them more than anything.

Even if the house was far from Leo's house, he was the only one that could help them.

Leo had the book in his hand. He didn't trust his friend with it. He weirdly got attached to Elijah.

The only light in the house of Edward was on the porch. Ed took out his keys and unlocked the door asking everybody to don't make a sound. His brother, Evan, was probably sleeping at this hour.

-Let's go in my room.

All of them said yes with their head. Followed him upstairs was a piece of cake but passing infront of his brother's room was something else.
The floor was cracking, making it harder to pass the corridor.
The faint sound of a door handle make them all scared. It was only Ed that opened his room.
He did a sign to all of them to come inside the room.

-What do we do with "this"?

Anne whispered this last sentence. Elijah was looking around the room in wonder. Edward room was pretty bland so Elijah must have NEVER seen a room.

I hit Anne on the arm. She let out a soft "ow".

-Dumb dumb. What if he hear us? And how can you send a demon back to hell? It's not even in the book!!

Leo says and took the book out of Anne's hands. He looks at it closely, making sure his eyes didn't miss a single word. He reads it for the third time but wasn't getting any new idea. There were too many words. He looked at Elijah who is looking at him like he had lost his mind.

Leo looks up at him with a deadpan expression. He raised an eyebrow and leo shook his head. He closed the book and put it on top of the table next to them.

Suddenly a knock. Then silence. Everyone was looking at the door, waiting for something to happen. Leo look at Edward with a look of "it's your house go open the door". Ed sigh than get up.

-hide this .. demon before I open the door.

Anne and Leo turn their head to look at Elijah.
Elijah get the message and go back in the book.
Edward open the door to a sleepy.. men.

-Evan?

Ed says. Evan is Edward's older brother of 2 years.

-You guys are speaking loud. For one time I can sleep!
-Sorry brother.

Edward goes to close the door, but this dumb! Elijah decide to come out at the same time.
