Last month, Jennie noticed a lingering presence that followed her around occasionally. When she turned around, she'd notice a short brunette with a flushed face tyring her best to act natural.

Once she stole a passerby book and opened it upside down to pretend she was reading. Once she chatted with a complete stranger who looked at her like she talked a foreign language despite her pleads in eye contact. Once she just entered a random class that just so happened to be taking place beside her. And once, she entered the bathrooms. The male's by accident.

Each time Jennie would notice, but she would simply ignore it, act like she hadn't seen the girl when she had, even if she noticed the small new envelop which was grasped in the girl's hand each time she turned around.

Jennie sometimes walks the hallways with her friends when they share classes, so they eventually noticed the girl too. Soojin, Seulgi and Rose always made sure to tell the eldest when she was there, even though Jennie already knew.

"Jennie, look, your little admirer is here again." Snickered Soojin, her ponytail tied up high, her condescending smirk plastered on her face as she eyes the smaller student who looked shy to approach the trio.

As usual, Jennie just ignored her and walked straight to class, leaving behind a dejected doll eyes.

"Unnie you know, I heard from Seungmin that Lisa was going to change herself," laughed Seulgi as they wrote their notes from the boring lecture.

As usual, Jennie ignored it all and focused on her school work, even if she was slightly curious of why the doll eyes was so persistent.

One day, Soojin didn't say anything and neither did Seungmin. Or anyone else, for that matter. It irked Jennie slightly. She hated to admit, but the lingering presence of her little admirer was something she'd rather have than not. However, Jennie chose to shrug it off. The girl had probably found someone to properly entertain her. Not that Jennie cared.

The next day, Rosè, Seungmin, and Soojin we're talking among themselves in the classroom as they munched on their lunches.

"You know, double eyelids are really popular these days," said Soojin aloud, making Jennie slightly surprised due to the sudden increase of volume.

"Yeah people see it as being more pretty."

"Well, I think it is." chirped Seungmin, her eyebrows raised.

"Want do you think Jennie?" asked Soojin, her volume as loud as before.

"Yeah whatever," she mumbled shortly for she couldn't care less about this sort of stuff. "Please lower your voice."

"Sure" Soojin replied, a sickly sweet smile plastered on her face.

It wasn't after Jennie realized that someone had just left the classroom, slamming the door and rushing out, that she knew the reason behind Soojin's raised voice.

"That was Lisa wasn't it" Jennie deadpanned, more of a statement rather than a question.

"Bingo" smirked Soojin, ticking of the older more that it should've.

On a normal day, Jennie would really just drop it and ignore it all like always, but Jennie had a bad feeling. Seulgi's words had echoed in her head. "Unnie you know, I heard from Seungmin that Lisa was going to change herself."

Her mind was telling her to bolt out and make sure the girl was okay. Make sure she knew their topic of discussion was not directed at her. But her body didn't move, and Jennie couldn't understand why. Was it pride? Or fear? she didn't know.

Jennie somehow managed to suppress the feeling until the middle of a math lecture when she suddenly shot up and left Soojin and Seungmin nearly cackled after she left while Rosè sighed and shrugged her shoulders, knowing there's no stopping her now. The rest of her classmates engaged in quiet whispering as the teacher tried to collect back their focus.

With each step, her pace quickened until eventually, she was running down the hallway to a certain brunette's class. She opened the door only for around 30 to 40 heads to look up at her with pure confusion while she scanned the faces, looking for the girl.

*Where's Lisa?" she asked, ignoring the fact that they seemed like they were taking a quiz or a test.

"Ms. Manoban left a minute ago for a doctor's appointment." Informed the teacher, a quirked eyebrow as of questioning what the hell Jennie was doing.

Jennie ran a hand through her locks as she let out an exasperated sigh before dashing out of school, hoping she was still close by. Sure enough, she was, Jennie caught a glimpse of the top of the brunner's head as she waved to the bus, telling it to stop. Jennie sprinted full speed and yelled the girl's name, pulling her off the bus and telling the bus driver to go.

"Hyu--Jennie! I have a doctor's appointment!" cried the younger girl as the bus drove off and further away from Lisa.

"Why? You don't need to change the way you look. What I said in class. I didn't know you were listening. Please don't get plastic surgery to change the way you look. Well I mean, it's your choice and all but.."

"Jennie"

"Like changing yourself to satisfy someone is just a bad idea. They're not going to like you for your personality then, and I don't think it's going to make you happy. I mean it's not that it's possible..

"Jennie"

"I just don't think it's necessary, don't go through with it, especially because of what Soojin said and what you think I like, frankly. I don't get the hype of the double eyelids, people should just."

"Jennie Kim", cried Lisa firmly, finally stopping the beautiful cat's nonsensical rambles.

"Sorry", she mumbled cutely, her gaze lowering to her shoes, her hands clasped onto each other politely, making Lisa chuckle to herself.

"I'm not getting plastic surgery" Lisa reassured her.

Jennie's gaze was lifted to meet Lisa's warm smile, and heaved a sigh of relief.

"Thank God, I like the way you look now", she blurted before she could stop herself, resulting in the two girl's cheeks being dusted with a light pink though Jennie's was a shade brighter.

"But if I was prettier, wouldn't you go out with me?" teased the mischievous doll eyes, earning a glare from the cat.

"No", she deadpanned, dejecting Lisa who took it to heart. "B-but I would I-if you stayed as you are now.." mumbled Jennie.

"Oh" was Lisa's reply to the older girl's extremely unexpected confession, before a comfortable silence settled in the air while the two just stood by the bus stop, not looking at each other out of embarrassment.

After a few minutes, Lisa spoke up.

"The doctors appointment was a dentist appointment, not for plastic surgery."

"Oh" came Jennie's soft and slightly hesitant reply, urging Lisa to turn and look at her.

"Don't you dare try look at me", she warned, but Lisa didn't listen and turned her head anyways, witnessing Jennie in all her blushing glory before bursting into laughter.

THE END.

Hiiiiiii I'm back! (not totally)
