Strange world x reader

The hole

After me and Ethan decided eat something and get some sleep since everything seem to have calm down we head back to the control room where Meridian is still flying. As we enter we see splat push all the buttons and messing with any and every lever it can touch. Meridian starts to yell at him a bit trying to get him to stop which makes me and Ethan laugh a bit. But of course since we met splat it doesn't seem like one to listen. So just as I though it didn't but as soon as she gives it the mom look splat stops and proceeds to shrink back being the sit hiding a bit. "Mm hmm you tried". Meridian says as Ethan sits down in the seat next to her and I lean on the back of it. As we look up we see searcher and jaeger walk to the front. "Huh look at that they're finally getting along." Ethan says sounding surprised which I will admit I am a bit surprised myself. "About time right." Meridian says chuckling. "Yeah." Ethan says agreeing with her. "Especially since they are they're basically the same person." He continues and the both scratch their butt. "Mm don't let your father hear you say that." Meridian says marking us all laugh. "Hey wanna take the wheel." Meridian ask looking over to Ethan. "I'm dying for a cup of coffee." She continues. "Wait really?" Ethan ask surprise that she was being serious. "Yeah just follow the roots." She says like it's the easiest thing in the world. To be honest it really seems like it was so. "Okay" Ethan says and she moves to take her seat. I move over and seat where he once was sitting. Me and Ethan stare in awe from how beautiful everything looks. "Hmm if only diazo could see you now." Meridian says making Ethan turn around really quick. "What you don't think your dad and I talk." From that I assume that diazo is someone Ethan has a crush on. Which now reminds me we talk a bit about him at the cave when we first got here. "Your doing great." Meridian says while Ethan is still looking at her. "Watch out for the walking landmass." I yell. In a panic Ethan turns the wheel the opposite direction and meridian comes running over after dropping her coffee. "And I got it see." Ethan says as we just barely miss it. As I remember that searcher and jaeger are on the front I look over to where they are and see them facing us while holding on for dear life. Ethan starts to apologize to then as he gets out of the seat and his mother takes over. I change my mind on it being the easiest thing in the world. "Why is this place so weird?" Meridian ask looking around a bit. "Uh I don't know I think this place is kind of amazing." Ethan say as he admires the view. "You know I got to say Ethan I've never see you so happy as you are down here." "I guess well the farm is so small the world is so big I just feel like I'm in my element." He says and she looks over to him smiling. I completely agree with him. "What why are you looking at me like that?" Ethan ask when he realizes that she was staring. "I can look at you" she responds making me laugh a little. "Mom please don't make it weird." "Mom can't be weird we gave birth to you. We've got rights." Meridian says and Ethan sigh as she continues. "And I would like to exercise my right to stare at you uncomfortably." I get up and move out if the seat and head for the door as I hear Ethan say "no you have to focus on the road." As I shut the door their conversation just sounds muffled. I head out another door and stand on the deck where no one is at and look around at all the amazing things here. "What are you doing up here?" I hear someone ask. I turn my head to see my mother walk up next to me. "Just need some air." I say looking back to the view. "This is an amazing place I wish we would have known about it before." My mother says. "Yeah just imagine what else is out there we haven't seen yet." I say wonder what other weird creatures there is out there. An hour or so later of us just standing out there in silence we head back inside. As we make it back to the control room I see that we have entered a cave. "I've been down here for 25 years and I've never seen anything like this." Jaeger says looking out at everything. I wonder how he hasn't. "This doesn't make any sense pando seems to be getting strong the deeper we go." Searcher says. "If pando is dying shouldn't it be getting weaker." My mother says walking up to stand next to him. "President mal the reapers are here and they brought friends" Someone says as they run in.  "What" she says as searcher moves to the window and looks out. "Meridian go!" He yells as they start to fly next to us. Meridian takes of flying which sends us all flying backwards. Ethan ends up thrown into search and I hit the wall.
