Chapter One: Encounters

The roads of Tokyo always had been bustling with people. Kids making their way to school, adults driving their way to work while arguing about politics on the radio or just randomly getting mad at the people who were the same. Humans had become obsessed with money. Constantly chasing after it. Forgetting that they have people who care about them. Going to the point to die for it. Money had been the villain since the beginning. Distracted us from what we love and destroyed what was reem for us.

Sasuke was one of those who were affected by it. His family had died in a group suicide when he was seventeen due to the dept that the family owed. His brother and father were confirmed dead on the scene while he and his mother were admitted to a hospital. Sasuke had been one to call the cops since he was awake the whole incident but was slowly losing consciousness as he was being treated. He turned his head to see what the commotion was. Doctors were panicking as one of them started performing CRP on his mother. Going on for about fifteen minutes, a doctor turned to look at the clock and announced the time. "Time of death: 11:27 PM." He heard the nurse say. A tear escaped his eyes as the doctor pulled a white sheet above her face. He had lost consciousness after that.

Sasuke was running late for the live operation class. His replacement for the swift hadn't arrived yet so he was stuck at the construction site. People cursed at him for making them wait. He left as soon as he saw the replacement. He walked into a public restroom, luckily there wasn't anyone there to see him change. He changed from the construction uniform into a simple black T-Shirt before he began to sprint towards the university.

Sakura had double-checked all her necessary items very with her to take notes for the surgery. She was 15 minutes early for the live transmission. The head doctors were already there sitting in the front row to see how Dr. Might performed. The transmission had started and the camera was focused on Might Guy.

"Hello. I'm Might Guy from Tokyo Hospital." He said as he bowed towards the camera.

"The surgery I'm about to perform live laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy." he started as he slipped on his gloves. Sakura jolted down the name and condition of the patient.

"This patient is 56 years old. And cancer cells of five centimeters have been found in the head of the pancreas." he pointed toward the body than the X-ray prints.

"In such cases, we usually conduct anastomosis on the cells with a mini-laparotomy. But today, I plan on showing you a laparoscopic operation where the entire procedure is conducted in the abdomen. Let me introduce my team." He said.

A man covered with a black coat, hat, and, mask made his way to a seat behind Sakura, disturbing many students, and doctors behind, and began to observe the surgery on the projector screen.

"Alright, let us begin the surgery. Scalpel" He held his hand out for the nurse as she handed him the scalpel.

Sasuke ran down the elevator of the subway in hopes of getting on the train. Nevertheless, the doors of the subway closed on him. He banged his hands on the door and glanced at the chart for the next train. Forty minutes.

"Give me my leg back!" Man grabbed his shoulder as he shouted at him.

"What?"

"Give me my leg back" The man shook his shoulder as he repeated. "Give it back. What did you do with it?!"
