"It's the minster Gaara-sama!" the paramedics barged into the emergency ward as the sirens of the ambulance were still heard in the background.

"Oh, my goodness- what are his vitals?" Sakura rushed, looking at the kage's bleeding forehead and abdomen, slipping on her latex gloves and sterilizing them.

"It was initially 100 over 80 but it dropped to 80 over 40 on our way"

"What about saturation?" Sasuke questioned, placing the stethoscope on his ears.

(saturation is the medical term for the oxygen level of the human body)

"At 88 percent so he's full of oxygen, thankfully"

"Get him to the bed quickly"

Nodding, the paramedics and the doctors along with the nurses rushed to the emergency bed, helping the paramedics push the stretcher faster.

"On 3," Naruto said unclasping the belts that held the package in place.

"Zero, one, two, three" The nurses and the doctors carefully slid the minister onto the hospital bed.

"Put him on saline-both the sides and a reservoir mask- 10 liters"

"Yes, doctor Haruno!"

"Gaara-sama, I'm going to cut open your shirt," Sasuke said, using cloth scissors to rip open his white formal.

"This is worse than I thought," Sakura said eyeing the purple bruises on his abdomen.

"Kazekage-sama, can you hear me??" she said, pressing his lower abdomen trying to see if there were any major inflammation while the minister grunted in pain.

"Ino, please bring the sonography machine"

"It's here!"

Sasuke applied the gel on the transducer prob and began examining Gaara's chest.

"He has massive Hemoperitoneum" Sasuke said focusing on the sonogram machine's
screen

(massive Hemoperitoneum = massive internal bleeding).

"And both his liver and spleen are damaged"

"Let's check his chest" Sakura grabbed the prob and began to move it around his chest.

"The left lung looks good," she said, moving to the right side of his chest "Oh shit another haemorrhage" her eyes widened.

"His saturation is dropping!" Naruto said as he heard the oxygen meter beep.

"So, get ready with the intubation!" Sasuke called out as I ran to get the machine "And Sakura, do the MAC"

Sasuke carefully inserted the tube into the minister's throat while Sakura carefully placed an IV on his forearm.

"Prepare ten packs of emergency RBC and FFP each and Naruto, prepare the OR immediately" Sasuke instructed, writing the internally bleeding areas on a notepad.

"Tsunade- San, please call Kakashi sensei, He should be leading the surgery," Sakura said, removing the bloody latex gloves and disinfecting her hands.

"On it!" Tsunade turned around when she bumped into someone

"I'll not be leading this surgery, nor participating in it"

"Kakashi sensei?!?" Sakura said, slightly opening her mouth to his surprised appearance
