Chapter 61

Issabella

After laying on the comfortable cloud that is our bed for a minute or so more, I finally got up (begrudgingly may I add), and went to the door that lead to the bathroom.

Once inside I marvelled at the luxurious white and gold themed room. The walk-in shower was enclosed in glass, and was larger than any shower I have seen in my life, with multiple shower heads that promised relaxation. There was also a large bathtub, that looked as if it could hold four people comfortably, and a double basin vanity, that had everything I needed next to one of the basins. I brushed my teeth, then went to the luxurious shower. When I entered I was pleasantly surprised to find soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and gels in my favourite scents.

'He truly took care of everything for us' Ezra said dreamily.

'Yes, he did' I agreed before turning on the shower making it as warm as I could tolerate.

The heat from the water along with the various shower heads that ensured my entire body was submerged in its heat felt divine on our skin. Ezra relaxed into it as well, both of us enjoying the feel of our muscles loosening. After enjoying the water for a while, I washed and rinsed our hair, and body.

Stepping out I felt rejuvenated, ready to face anything. After wrapping our body in the softest towel I have ever felt, I combed and brushed our hair then applied the necessary hair products before leaving it to air dry.

My next task, I applied scented lotion and then stepped out into the room, the towel securely around our body.

'I wonder what Lex would've done had he been here and you left the bathroom naked' Ezra chirped, her tone husky.

'You horny wolf! Is there a time that you are not thinking about jumping his bones?' I asked her, my tone heavy with playful exasperation.

'No, I know you've seen that beautiful specimen of man...well vampire. He's all ours, I can't wait to feel those rough hands all over–'

'Stop it you! We have to get ready to meet his brothers, no more naughty thoughts! We have to make a good impression, hopefully they won't be like...them' I said, my thoughts souring at the thought of that pack.

'They won't be anything like them Issa, besides, we both know we will never tolerate mistreatment ever again, and Lex will be by our side. He wouldn't let them hurt us' Ezra stated confidently.

'Okay' I replied donning the lavender coloured brassiere and panties that was left on the bed for us along with the royal purple silk dress, and black shoes Lex chose for us.

Lex came in then, wearing black pants and a royal purple silk dress shirt that he left untucked with black loafers. His blond hair was loose around his shoulders and his beard trimmed and immaculate as always. He looked at us and smiled, his eyes shining with adoration.

'Are you ready loves? They are waiting for us' he said as he approached my nervous form.

'Yes' I told him hesitantly. While I agreed with Ezra that Lex won't let anything happen to us, I can't help but be a little apprehensive, but more importantly, I wanted them to like us.

They are Lex's brothers, a monumental part of his life, therefore I wanted their approval.

While I was lost in my thoughts Lex wrapped his arms around us. 'They already love you angels, Issa, there is no need to worry, I promise you' he said before planting a kiss to our forehead.

'Okay then, let's go' I told Lex before I became more nervous.

Placing another kiss to my curls, Lex took our hand to guide us. Once out of our room, he placed his hand at the small of our back and walked us to what I assume was the main dining room.

As we walked I kept my mind focused on the way their 'base' was designed. White, gold, cream, and grey was the theme throughout the entire space. Paintings of the brothers and art adorned the walls. The space was somewhat minimalistic, giving the place an open feel.

So lost was I in my inspection and thoughts that I didn't realise we arrived at our destination. I looked up and saw a large dining table filled with various fruits, food, juices, and tea. I looked at Lex shocked.

'Don't worry angel, eat what you'd like. We will be eating with you as well' he told me guiding me to one of the chairs.

Just as he pulled my chair out for me to sit, I see his brothers walk in.

Iyan has his dreadlocks pulled back and secured neatly at the nape of his neck. He wore a power blue silk dress shirt, black pants, and loafers.

Nik was dressed similarly in a red silk dress shirt, black pants and loafers. His hair was braided neatly down his back.

Vlad was wearing a grey silk dress shirt that matched his eyes, black pants and loafers. His hair loose around his shoulders in a manner similar to Lex.

Then finally was Zor in a tan coloured silk shirt with black pants and loafers. His mop of curls defined, his golden eyes sparkling. His goatee neatly trimmed as yesterday.

They were all smiling at me, waiting until I was seated before sitting down themselves. Once seated they each filled their plates, while Lex filled his and mine. When he was done and we all had our food, Zor spoke up.

'Let's get to know our new sister' he said smiling brilliantly at me. The others agreed and I felt my face heat up.
