A+ home movie

chapter 1

CHAPTER ONE:   
The class went quiet as the wooden door shut with a loud bang and the footsteps of their teacher could be heard as the older man walked in front of the class with a pile of paper in his hands. He put it down on the desk and looked up at the class.  “Ok everyone As I have informed you yesterday, you will be working on a new project. For this you will have a month to record and edit your own home movie describing your life .” The students around the classroom started to talk and whisper about their plans before the teacher spoke up again “I have decided this project will be done with partners but I will be picking the partners this time “. After a couple annoyed groans and complaints the teacher starts passing out to the booklet with the criteria “The paper you get will say who your partner is and I will not be Changing Partners who you get is what your stuck with “ Everyone seemed pleased with who they got until the teacher placed the paper down on a certain boys desk.

Felix flipped over the paper and his heart dropped seeing the name on it Oliver Royal. Felix knew it was useless to fight with the teacher so he  turned over to look at the other boy across the classroom.  Oliver didn't seem to have a discouraged look on his face he just turned and made eye contact with Felix.  Oliver gave a friendly Smile as Felix turned his head frustrated.  The loud ear piercing bell rang to signal the end of the day Felix grabbed the criteria and flipped through it as he packed his stuff not noticing that a certain Ginger was walking over to him until he heard the voice he  Dreaded to hear .  “Hey Felix I was thinking since we were Partners we can exchange numbers to keep in touch” Oliver said with an awkward smile holding out his phone towards Felix. Felix looked at him at the corner of his eye and took a deep breath before grabbing his phone and typing in his number “Here we can meet up down by the corner shop later today. I'll bring my camera you just don't be late .”After Felix handed back the phone he turned his head and grabbed his bag walking out of the classroom without another word leaving oliver there confused.

The sound of rocks kicking could be heard as Felix walks down the road kicking a small Stone in front of him. He stopped in front of an old looking apartment building and opened the door and walking up the creaky stairs.  He stopped on the third floor and pulled out a key unlocking the door to his apartment. He looked around and noticed the Car keys were gone he immediately knew that his father was out and he dropped his school bag walked to his room and opened the wooden door. He collapsed onto his bed taking a deep breath before turning to look at his nightstand and grabbing the bag that held his camera in it. He stayed  in bed for a tiny bit before he stood up and started heading back towards the door to lock the apartment.

As he left he was about to walk down the stairs when he looked at the window in the hallway and noticed Oliver just arriving at the apartment Building that Was recently built beside his .he rolled his eyes guessing that Oliver was going to be late To meet up with him and headed back down the stairs trying to not make eye contact with any of his neighbours.   he opened the door again making sure he shut it before walking back down the sidewalk towards the old convenience store.

Felix walked down the narrow sidewalk bumping in to pedestrians and hearing  the loud sound of honking cars As he turned the corner walking down the street towards the small convenience store keeping  his head down and making sure to avoid contact with anyone he makes it towards the glass door and opens  it as the soft sound of a jingle from the doors Bell rings.  He walks down the few aisles in the store as he keeps taking glances towards the glass door That he entered through.  The Cashier stared at him suspiciously and the old man soon spoke up  “You're going to buy anything kiddo ?” Felix almost immediately turned to look at the elderly man behind the counter. It took him a couple seconds to reply but he finally opened his mouth  “uh..No I'm not sure I'm just waiting for a friend”.  Felix turned back to look at the products on the shelves as the old man just nodded his head and looked back down at the magazine he was reading.
