I groaned dreading the phone call, but I knew if I didn't he'd keep calling. I slumped into the recliner and dialed his number. "Hello? " he answered sounding somewhat annoyed. "You called me...like a lot what did you want?" I answered just as annoyed.
"Why are you being so cold" he asked his voice escalating. "I'm not your the one calling my phone like something important happened but its just you calling to argue as usual." I near screamed into the phone. "He sighed loudly "I'm so glad I left you". Ouch. He purposely said that to try and hurt me. And you know it worked. "You know what this is when I hang up because you know what you didn't leave me I left you because you decided to be a cheat of a boyfriend" I said hoping to keep my voice steady.
"Lexie I-" I cut him off mid sentence " just don't I'm tired and I have a lot of homework. Bye." I closed the phone and curled up in the recliner.
I knew it wasn't going to turn out pretty. But you know what's funny? While he gets off the phone and probably walks it off I'm always the one to get hurt...
