Serene Anderson. That's her name, the name her father gave her when she was delivered on his doorstep. Her name literally means Beauty and peace; which is what exactly she brought to the world.
Her perfectly tan skin, western almond eyes that were the color of Aventurine, a green quartz crystal. Her hair was a natural curly brown with streaks of blonde weaved in and out. She had the most precious dimples and a personality so fragile that she could break at any moment.
As she grew older, she matured more, gaining both mental and physical strength. The boys in her school were always attracted to her and the girls always went to her for advice. It didn't matter who you were, you were entranced by Serene's beauty.
She never knew her mother, but she found comfort within her dad who always told her about the one woman that still has his heart, a woman who was so beautiful he was sure she was a goddess.
She never gave him her name, after one night she was out and to be never found again. He was certain she was Serene's mother; their beauty made sense to him. Plus, he wasn't one to usually have one-night stands.
Sad, it was sad though because he was so hung up on that mystery woman, he never found someone to be a mother for Serene, leaving her not growing up with a mother figure.
She managed though, she didn't need a mother to teach her how to be gentle and nurturing, she was a natural at that.
Life was good, not until she had a vision; one that was filled with chaos and a beautiful woman standing in the middle of it all; reaching her hand out to Serene.

Felix, someone who has been around for decades. He was a Demi god; his wisdom and luck falling onto the people who followed him. He became a Demi god as a kid, his parents sacrificing him; claiming to not want a cursed child.
Back in his times, body markings were a sign you were marked by Hades, at least in his village it was. So his charming freckles were frowned upon, and he was shunned away as a baby.
That was until they sacrificed him to Hades, asking him to lift off the curse placed on them by Felix. It was all a lie, Hades never cursed them, and he was disgusted by their sacrifice.
But he took Felix in, raising him to be a Demi god and to one day show the world he was not a curse.
His divine gift was simple; the gift of dreams. He blessed you with sweet dreams and cursed you with nightmares. He rarely did the 2nd one but there had been times.
He's like the Greek mythology version of the sand man, giving people peace and tranquility through their dreams to help balance their lives. He was a demigod of night and fell in the sun. He was stuck with the appearance of a young man, never growing older but gaining wisdom as each decade past.
He held little contact with any of the Greek gods and steered cleared of Zeus and Poseidon. He was still a troublemaker though back in the day, when he had the mentality of a teenage boy. Getting into notorious trouble by all Gods, like Ares and Dionysus. Stealing the party god's wine and hiding Ares bow and arrow.
Still, the gods like Persephone and Astraeus adored him and liked his company. Now he seeks the calmness of the world, not wanting to ruffle any feathers anymore and just wanting to exist. But when he is called upon by the goddess of beauty he is surprised to hear she needs help.
"I need you to find my daughter."
