Chapter 27: Bricks POV

I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes and I could barely open them. I felt hot still, really hot. I sat up and tried to get my bearings together. I don't remember what happened, something grabbed Blossom and I went after her but he closed the door on me... I was so angry and she looked to helpless... But why was I laying on the ground, and outside? And where was Blossom? I jumped up, and to my dismay, I saw a part of the fortress blown apart, and ashes covered the ground. It all came back to me. I got too scared, too angry. What have I done? I blew the room up! I was not hurt but...fuck where was everyone?! My friends were in there, my brother was, and where was Blossom? I started flying around looking. I couldn't find anybody! Shit! I had never felt so horrible before. Had I killed them? Were they part of the ashes scattered in the grass? I wanted to vomit. I wanted to cry. But all of a sudden I heard coughing. I saw her. It was Bell, she was flattened against the ground, and her face was covered in black soot. I rushed down and grabbed her, forcing a hug. "I am so sorry. I really am Bell, shit I did not mean for that to happen. Are you okay " She nodded and brushed herself off. "Where is everyone else?" I just stared at her, and she got it. "Well..." she stood up and said, "we go inside. You stay calm, okay?" I knew she was right. We headed back over to the building.
