(#1)
maybe things will not work after all. You thought as you watched your boyfriend kissing another girl not too far from where you are now. Just taking a walk for a while since you were all alone in your grandma's house, you got bored. You wanted to go and visit your boyfriend for almost three years, Eita Otoya when you saw his figure with another presence beside him.
Your eyes fumes are you realized the one who's with him is no other than your enemy. Your thoughts are running wild.
what if she's doing this to annoy you? What if they're secretly dating behind your back? What if Otoya really loves her more than you?
You don't know.
You felt numb, tears running down your rose tinted cheeks. Shaky hands, you tried not to sob, it's so painful seeing him with her, it looks like your heart had been shutter into pieces again.
You watched as they walk away, their figures fading. You were curious of where they're going and you followed without being seen or heard.
"He's a playboy y/n, you'll never find true love with him" your friend says as she stares at you coldly "oh come on, he said he'll change for me" you replied smiling at her.
Your friend just sighs and put her notebook in her bag, "well, I already told you, things will never work between you two, even if he said he'll change. You can't be so sure about it." She told you and stood up before her back faced you.
"Don't just follow what your mind and heart says." And with that, she left you alone the library.
You felt your legs starting to give out after they went in a hotel, that's it, you couldn't take it anymore and just go home to your grandma who's already waiting for your return.

"my dear granddaughter, what's wrong? You look tired" your grandma from your mother side asked while she carefully put down the cookies she bake on the counter. You look at her and gave her a smile before hugging her tightly and sobbing uncontrollably.
She pats your back gently and closes her eyes, "oh dear, what happened?" She asked one more time as you pulled away, she stare at your eyes filled with pain.
"grandma– otoya he..." You tried to talk and tell her what happened, but your lips is shaking so much.
"There there, first you should calm down, want me to make some tea for you?"
You shook your head.
Your grandma is always a shoulder that you can lean on everytime, you were an only daughter and she cherish you like she did to your mother– loving her endlessly, but when the accident happened when you were four, they didn't survive. your grandma took you in her house and the one who's raising you now.
"what did he do that made you go in this kind of mess" she asked putting a bowl of cookie in front of you as she sits beside, waiting for you to tell her what happened.
"i was just going to visit him when i saw him on the arcade near the park and i saw him with my enemy I told you about mama, he kissed her. And it feels like my heart had been shutter again" you told her as you control your tears to not roll down.
Your grandma was beyond mad but she keeps on patting your back. "my dear, you don't deserve this cruelty" she says and gives you a warm hug.
"As I said my dear, don't trust someone too much cause it'll hurt in the end. Don't always listen and do what your heart says" she told you and slowly braids your beautiful h/c hair.
"Now days, true loves rarely comes to everyone or to someone, you might think they're the one who's destined for you, but they'll soon leave a scar in your heart."
You listened carefully while already munching a cookie and chugging down the juice your grandma made.
"your mother on her teenage days, she also got broken many times than she can count on her hands. But your father came"
"What age did mother and father met?" You curiously asked.
"Your mom started dating someone when she was fourteen years old, and she met your father when she's eighteen and your father is twenty. They met in the arcade that's abandoned now" she told you and tie your hair.
You turned around wanting to hear more.
"arcade? Arcade is where me and Otoya also first met!" You exclaimed.
"But he says he was gonna change for me, I already think things will work between me and him cause we're dating for almost three years now"
"love always come and go, talk to him, fix things but if it gets more worse. Break up, and never give him another chance" your grandma says and gave you a warm smile.
"Never wait for more, y/n"
You nodded your head before sighing, the numbness going away. With just your grandmother by your side.
She's right, you should fix things between you and Otoya, but if things got worse, you'll break up with him and you'll never trust him again.
