The girl slowly opened her eyes, finding herself in an unfamiliar room. She looked around and saw Jeffery sitting on the bed next to the door, talking to someone on the phone. As he hung up, he walked towards her with a serious expression on his face.
Suddenly, a surge of adrenaline coursed through the girl's veins, and she leaped out of bed, sprinting past Jeffery in an attempt to flee. However, he quickly caught up, effortlessly tackling her to the ground and pinning her down.
"Don't try that again, or I will kill you," Jeffery warned, an unsettling hint of laughter in his voice.
The door burst open as Ticci Toby, Liu – Jeffery's brother – and Ben Drowned entered the room. They began to examine the girl, taking note of the numerous bruises that marred her arms and legs. Masky approached her cautiously and asked for her name. The girl hesitated, still trying to fully process the situation she found herself in.
