Mi lluvia ep 17

"I'll teach you," I told him. He was dumbfounded

"We're not like you. We don't have powers like your kind?" He said more of a question than anything,

I pulled out my legs from under me and crossed them in front of me,

"My people aren't born with powers," I confess,

"My people are taught," I said, pausing from memories coming back,

"Taught?" Cadmael asked, snapping me out from my head,

"Yes, taught, we have taught some people, but after what they did, we never taught anyone else but our own" I told him looking out in the river as the water stayed put at its level right now and the feeling of people swimming slowly to us,

"So I can?" He asked exactly,

"How old are you ?" I asked

"10" he answered within a heartbeat

"Birthday?"

He paused, counting on his fingers

"5 full moons," he answered, showing me 5 fingers

"Where are your people?" I asked, still feeling slow movement in the water

"They're trying to see if they can sneak up on you," he answered, kicking water around

I gave him an okay look and started to focus back on the teaching

"Are you scared I might teach someone else? Because I won't!" He said, picking at his skin on his hand

I put my hand over his. "You can't teach it, even if you wanted to," I told him. He gave me a questioning look

"Only the royals can teach," I said, smiling. It dropped when I caught myself too late

"Roya-" he was cut off by some loud noise we heard from behind us, we both looked to see something fly towards Cadmael. It was too fast to jump into the water,

I pulled him towards me and opened my wings, protecting both of us. I felt the sharp pain go through my wing as I held on to Cadmael, as I felt his body shiver, and my eyes watery from the pain that was going through my body,

I looked up towards my wing that got hit and saw a metal arrow that got stuck in my wing, I quickly made something sharp and cut off the head of the arrow, the sound of the metal being cut off made Cadmael look up from his ball,

A gasp left his mouth, I looked at him to see he was starting at my new wound,

"Hey," I said softly in a shaky voice, as I turned his head towards me, "I'll be fine, no need to worry" I told him, he was about to say something when we heard a splash noise, I looked up to see Ak'u standing in front of us

Another and another started to pop up. One had taken Cadmael from me while others looked at my wing,

"Pull it" I told them, with that they pulled the other piece of metal out and dropped it, I moved my wing up, but it didn't get too far seeing the pain had increased with every moment I made with it.

"Are you alright mi lluv-" Ak'u was cut off by a speaker coming on,

"There was a malfunction in one of our equipment, whatever you do, don't destroy it, it will explode, step away from it and let someone know,-" it had cut off, I stood up and looked at the pieces I had destroyed,

Without a word everyone that was near it started to jump into the water, I dived in and started to swim away, I looked back to see a piece of the arrow fell in with us, I looked to the side to see something close to it swim away from it,

I swam towards them to see it was Cadmael. It seemed something was hurting him, I swall near me, going behind him and pushing him as we both swam away from the bomb,

I saw Ak'u starting to swim towards us when I felt a heat wave push me as I held onto Cadmael once again, the sudden pain had made me gasp as I started to suck in water, I was drowning sucking more water in as I was trying to swim up, I was to deep down as the surface was mocking me almost, I felt someone pulling my arm up, I looked to see Cadmael was trying to pull my dead beat body, I started to kick again, trying to reach the surface,

I was halfway there when I felt my eyes blurry with the second, I couldn't control my body as much seeing my body was too tired to fight anymore, the mockery of this, lived for so long, fighting for my life from many, and drowning is what takes me out,

I closed my eyes. I still felt Cadmael pulling me still, "HELP!" I heard him screaming as I felt another pull me, but it was faster as I felt the water push by me,

I hit the surface and started to cough up a storm getting all the water out of my system as I took a breath my body was dying for, I felt the pain go through my whole body but mostly on my back and my wings, I finally looked at my saver to see it was Ak'u, I still couldn't catch my breath so I lend my head on his shoulder as he still held onto me floating in the water,

"Wow," I heard from Cadmael, I could feel that he was behind me. Hearing this and other gasp as they were behind me didn't make me curious about how my back looked like,

"Was anyone harmed?" I asked, I could feel his body tense up but relaxed a bit,

"You should not worry about that, worry about yourself," he answered, I closed my eyes and started to heal the most damaged wound

"Is everything alright?" I heard someone yelled out, I put a face on that voice and figured out it was shuri who had asked,

I felt as Ak'u started to move with his people towards where shuri was, once we got there I felt him go in the sky for a bit before going on his knees still holding on to me, as I focus on what happened,

I heard other people gasp letting me know there's more than shuri here,

I opened my eyes finally seeing the dock that I was on was destroyed as a piece of it remains intact, Ak'u was between my legs and held onto me when he's on his knees keeping both if us on water, I made a thin wall of water, making it look like it's not there, I put it between the wakandans and Ak'us people,

I kept my eyes on the river as they talked

"Cadmael?" I asked. My voice was sore from the water going down my throat,

"Mmm?" Ak'u hummed, I saw Cadmael pop his head out of the water, scared to come fully out,

"Come," I said, slowly moving off of Ak'u's lap as I was still on my knees in front of Ak'u,

Cadmael came closer slowly with a limp in his leg, I patted a spot between Ak'u and I, he was hesitant at first but Ak'u gave him a nod then Cadmael gladly took the spot, I touched his leg letting me see what it happening,

I opened my eyes, knowing my answer, he fractured his leg, not to sure from what, but it was swelling slowly,

I looked up at him and put my hand on his cheek, "this will hurt" I told him, he nodded as Ak'u gave him one of his arms so he could squeeze, I went over his leg and started to hold his leg tightly, he started to scream at the sudden pressure,

Once it was done, the swelling went down as well. My hand prints were printed on his leg that I was holding,

"Who are you? Truly?" I looked up to see the king had asked the question,

"My name is still y/n l/n, just spelled differently," I told him as I took a sharp breath out, still having pain go through my body

"I know mostly everything about you. There is no need to lie," shuri said

"You know nothing."
