"Come at me" I joked around as I was about to put Cadmael down, I stopped mid way as I felt something off, was it the eyes of the soldiers that was being yelled at that made me feel uncomfortable? Or maybe the yelling that was happening to someone who helped me more than others had?

What made me feel this way?

I feel like I can't breathe, as if someone has been sitting on my chest, crushing me as I try to get out from underneath. The dizziness I felt as I heard Ak'u yell at his man for how they treated us. I felt weak as the vibration of Ak'u's voice bounced off from the walls, and as I felt his people shake, I couldn't tell why they were shaking. Was it because he was yelling at them or because they couldn't breathe?

I heard F/n talk but she sounds so far away, everyone felt so far from me, I felt as Cadmael arms went around my neck as he held me, I could feel his heartbeat racing, I could feel his mouth and nose on my shoulder, mouth and nose?

My eyes widened as I noticed. How could I not? Why did it take me so long to notice someone suffering just to be up here?

I walked towards the body of water as I held on to Cadmaels body close to mine, I heard his heartbeat as if it was my own, it was pounding in my ears, I couldn't focus on anything around me or thinking of an idea, his breathing was loud and heavy, but he didn't say anything,

I walked passed Ak'u as he tried to talk to me, I was about to pass his men but I suddenly spread out my wings pushing his men back into the water little by little, they willingly continued walking back into the water as I finally got to the water halfway up to my body,

I pulled Cadmael off of me as I set him in the water, with that the others had did it as well, finally breathing something they can, I folded back my wings as I continued feeling weak and dizzy, a soft tap touched my wing gaining my attention, I looked back to see Ak'u standing there with is hand out, I looked at his hand and then back at him,

I smiled weakly at him as I put my hand on his, I looked up at him to see he was smiling back at me, his smile could simply put me in a trance, he lifted his hand up moving closer to my face, he simply moved strings of hairs out of my face until he rested his hand on my cheek, he's eyes just looking my me, as if I was the only one there, I felt a nudge on my leg making me look down, a head had popped up from the water,

"What a brave man," Ak'u said, taking his hand from my cheek, letting cold air hit my face, I watched as his hand went on the kids head patting it,

"He'll be one of the best men," I whispered, looking at him,

"You'll be a great soldier" I told Cadmael, as I tapped his forehead, his eyes lit up once I said those words, I'll know he'll fight for what he believes in or what he wants to protect, I'll know that's what will take him away from the place he calls home

Cadmael smile was shining brightly as he couldn't keep his excitement inside,
