*THUNK!*

The two had bumped into Shanks left arm (which he used to block with) he loled. "Good instincts!" Smiling as things started to get more entertaining.

Shanks jerked his arm back quickly trying to catch Ace and Sabo off guard. But to his pleasant surprise, the two had already reacted; jumping back and landing on all fours. They growled. "Good reflexes too.." Shanks added, "But..." They're acting like wild animals.... Shanks looked over the two brothers who were violently cautious. who raised these kids?? What caused them to act like this??

Shanks stood straight. "You boys really are an interesting bunch aren't ya?"

Ace furrowed his eyebrows slowly stepping forward like he was trying to corner a dangerous beast. Which we all know Shanks is both dangerous and a stinky beast ;3.

Shanks lifted his arms up defensively trying to seem less threatening. "Heyyy now! Calm down." Shanks closed his eyes and gave a nervous smile. "I'm not gonna hurt ya!"

"It's not ourselves we care about!" Ace shouted in reply.

"It's Luffy!" Sabo added.

Shanks slowly lowered his arms in surprise, and looked at the two, who were still trying to protect their little brother; he lifted his left arm to his mouth letting a small tear bite the corner of his eye. "You boys..." He whispered humbly.

"DON'T MOCK US!!" Ace threw his shoe at Shanks, who easily caught it, and helped Sabo, who had already been carrying Luffy, run out of the house.

"Hehehehe 😈" Shanks started to go after the two, but his foot got caught on something, almost making him trip. "UAHH!!" He flailed his arms to regain balance in a not so super strong, and cool emperor of the sea style.

"What the...?" Shanks turned around to see what he almost L'd on, it was large empty box of crayons. He took a closer look around the room, noticing that the papers he'd seen earlier had drawings on them. "Oh!" Shanks abandoned the idea of chasing after the kids more and headed for the papers that lay all across the room.

After close inspection, and I mean very close, it was almost impossible to tell what these kids were drawing. The only ones that looked like anything were Sabo's (which at the time, Shanks hadn't a clue of their artistic abilities).

Shanks grinned so wide it almost seemed evil, you could see the gleam in his eyes. "Now, now, what do we have here..."

Shanks stood up and left the house closing the door behind him. Which let the moonlight shine through the window and onto the papers of....pirates!
