The flashy multicolored lights illuminated the room full of the smell of booze and sweaty bodies pressing against each other. The Euphoria provided the ample atmosphere for the youth to let their hair loose, specifically after a particularly gruesome week.
A group of youngsters made their way towards the bar for the exact same reasons.
No sooner had they settled in their seats and ordered their drinks, a skimpily clad woman made her way towards them.
"Lucky me! Who would have expected to find Greek Gods in a regular club." She flashed her teeth through the bright red tinted lips.
As she attempted to place her hand on the sturdy chest visible courtesy of the unbuttoned shirt, a muscular hand stopped her.
"Sorry, but I'm committed."
"Ah! The good ones are always taken." She lamented and made her way towards the dance floor in search of another prey after bidding a quick bye.
"Tch.....Another lost opportunity." The guy beside him tutted.
"Then why don't you entertain them?" The guy fixed his jacket.
"Yeah and get murdered by Jimin." He replied staring at his tiny boyfriend on the dance floor whose temper was as fiery as his hair was.
"Exactly. I too must remain loyal to the love of my life."
"More likely to the imaginary love of your life."
"Tae, for the hundredth time, Jin is not imaginary!" He poured; his face changing instantly from that of a demi-god to an angry bunny.
"If you say so." He shrugged unimpressed.
Jungkook frowned at his friend. He couldn't understand why no one from his university believed in the existence of his soulmate, Jin.
True, he didn't have any picture or proof of his friend but that was because they hadn't been able to spend too much time together.
They were friends for barely half an year when Jin had suddenly vanished. One day he had played with him, promising to be together forever and the next thing he knew Mr. Hwan was dead and Jin was missing.
On his insistence, Mrs. Jeon had even contacted the police but to no avail. They couldn't find a trace of him and concluded him to be kidnapped or dead.
But no matter what everyone said, he refused to believe them. He knew Jin was out there somewhere and they would surely meet one day.
Time passed, the heart grew fonder and the innocent friendship of childhood gave way to something deeper.

"You are just in time. It begins in five minutes." The guy at the library ushered Jin inside. "I have set up everything. You just need to login."
"Oh Hobi! What would I do without you?"
"May be nothing." he shrugged and smiled playfully.
The guy, Hoseok or better known as Hobi left after wishing Jin good luck. He was a literal embodiment of sunshine & happiness and took pride in being the only friend Jin had in the city of Seoul.
They had met incidentally when he was on shift in the library and encountered a teenager with doe eyes and a pretty face staring at the books longingly. Being a friendly person he had ventured forward to ask if he needed something, only to be met with a shy refusal. Jin had mumbled something about not having money to get a membership with his ears swiftly turning red.
Hoseok couldn't help but coo at the cuteness of the teenager and let him borrow a secretly. Gradually it became a routine for him to smuggle out books to Jin who in turn was forever grateful to him and tried to pay back by helping him in managing and cleaning the library.
On days when the crowd was thinner, they hung out in the adjoining café. Hoseok was able to learn Jin's love and passion for studies and his aunt's hatred for it. Jin explained how he completed his chores faster and snuck out to go to the library when his aunt went out for her weekly parlor sessions. Sensing his eagerness and potential, Hoseok had suggested him to join online classes using the old phone his aunt had given him. He even allowed him to use the computer at the library to appear for his exams.
That was how Jin had continued his dreams. Though he was initially guilty for fooling his aunt and taking the money meant for the tailor or baker and doing the work himself, Hoseok had encouraged him and made him understand it was for a better cause.
Today was the day that would check his merit and bring him one step closer to achieving his aim of becoming a teacher. It was the day of the entrance examination of his dream university.
The exam lasted for 3hrs after which Hoseok returned with a dark chocolate mocha for himself and a caramel macchiato for Jin.
"How was it?"
"Great. I'm hopeful about getting an admission there." he smiled, but it faltered in a minute. "But aunt......"
"I'm sure she will come around once we try to convince her. Even if she doesn't I'm sure you will be able to get a scholarship and get a job that pays you. Seriously, the amount of work the lady makes you do would have fetched you a lot if it was a paid job. And if nothing works, you have me." he assured with one of his brightest smiles, making his friend thank God in mind for having him in his life.
