"I am unable to adjust in my dorm and I have lately been feeling homesick."
"Hey, it's completely normal to feel like this. Even I feel homesick at times."
"I don't see you upset."
"Just because I don't show it doesn't mean I am not feeling it. Megan I want you to know that knowing you're from my neighborhood makes me feel I have a part of my home here. I hope you can find something or someone to feel the same."
"Oh. I feel the same. I am glad to have met you, Sweha. Thank you so much for everything."
I put my hand on her shoulder assuring her I am here for her, and she turned and hugs me. I hugged her back, and she relaxed a bit.
"I am here for you; I hope you know you can hangout out with me and my group. Just because you don't feel like hanging out with your roomies doesn't mean you can hang out with others. And I want to suggest you join some extracurricular activity; it might just make you feel a little less stressed or overwhelmed. I hope you will consider my opinion."
"Thank you so much for hearing me out, I feel so much better now. And yeah, I am planning to join Art class as a part of extracurricular activity, I have been learning it from quite some time so I hoped it would help me feel better."
"Great. I am glad you thought it would be worthwhile to share your stuff with me. I am glad to have a new friend. Let's head back now so that we don't miss lunch, okay?"
"Yeah."
We walked back to the dorm, and I went to my room where I found all my girls waiting up for me.
"Give me five minutes, I'll just change, and we can head to the cafeteria. Sorry."
They gave me a reassuring smile and nod.
In the cafeteria, I find Megan having second thoughts about whether or not she should come and sit with us. So, I waved at her and asked her to come over.
"Who's that now?" Tri snaps.
"Shut up be polite. Shes new here too." I snap back at her.
"Hi, have a seat dear." Said Kia.
"Hi, I'm Megan. Thank you."
"Hey, everyone this is Megan. Megan these are my roommates, Kiara, Lana, Trisha, and Amy."
"Hello everyone, it's a pleasure to meet you all."
"Hi girl." Lana smiled.
"Hey, Megan." Amy said.
"Hi." Tri said, coldly.
I glared at her.
"Welcome here." Tri adds.
I smile at them thanking them for cooperating with me. And we had our lunch gossiping about random stuff.
As we were heading out, I found my cell buzzing and answered the call. Its odd to find Seb calling me at this time.
"Wassup?" I say casually.
"Can you meet me outside?"
"Yeah sure."
"NOW."
"Umm something wrong?"
"Come out please."
Disconnecting the call, I hurriedly headed out barely saying anything to anyone. And find Seb sitting on a bench as if someone just dragged him out of a nightmare.
"Hi." I try to act casual hoping it'll relax the tension.
"I need your help."
"You know I'd do anything for you just tell me what's going on."
