The halls became busy and loud as the bell rang yet inside the popstar's dressing room was quiet and calm; humming a song (y/n) gently but quickly did her job, her mind completely blank as it drifted away. The rest felt like a blur to her before she was shifted back to reality after she finished, only then and there she noticed him staring at her, gently, with a smirk. "Is something wrong?" her voice trembled taking a small step back, he shook his head as he spoke "It's nothing," he softly reassured her as he got up to his feet, ready to change into his costume.

"I'll just go—" before she could leave he grabbed her hand in a rush, he gave her a smile "Y-you can stay," he then let go of her. (Y/n) hesitated before she politely refused "You see, I still got to help someone with...uh...makeup cause you know—I may be your's but I'm still a makeup artist nonetheless," she nervously chuckled, lying. "Oh," he cleared his throat "Oh right, of course.." his voice sounded down, but his smile didn't falter as he shifted his gaze somewhere else "Good luck  then."

Even after she left, the door banging shut behind her, Wally just stood there contemplating his actions, just something about her leaving made him panic a little and her gaze...simply recalling it made him blush.  It was soft, he then trailed further "I wonder...how that gaze will change.. how loving would it look—" he stopped that thought as he shook his head. "The show's about to begin!" he reminded himself as he slapped his cheeks, but her gaze never left his mind, his face redden simply thinking of it.

His head was a mess. Not once he felt this, at least towards...someone. He covered his mouth as he continued to blush, was this...love? Love in first sight? "That's ridiculous..." he contradicted himself, trying to shake the thought away convincing himself this feeling will soon pass, besides, he only met her; he doesn't know her long enough.

He took a deep sigh and prepared himself.

"It's showtime."

"(Y/n)!" a voice called out, she looked only to see its the woman from earlier who wished her luck "Oh hello!" (y/n) waved back, "Since you're new here, I want to show you something," she told her then suddenly the bell rang, a big smile appeared out of her face as she grabbed (y/n) "Quick! We'll miss it!" she yelled out as she swiftly ran with (y/n) stumbling from behind ("Can people stop pulling me like this!" [y/n] thought, remembering what Wally did).

The two stopped at a door as the woman fidgeted with the knob, (y/n) looked up seeing a sign lit in red, written on it says "On Air", her eyes widen "The broadcast room..." she whispered as she was yanked to enter the dark room.  The woman then pointed at a chair "Mr. Darling will sit there from time to time to rest between takes. You may touch up his makeup when necessary," she informed "Goodluck rookie!" she then gave her a reassuring pat as she walked past her.

(Y/n) hugged herself, a bit shy and confused on what to do, her head loud with thoughts as she looked around the room like a lost child. Her thoughts were interrupted as she heard a voice, a joyful voice that greeted the 'viewers', it was Wally performing. She slowly walked closer, admiring him from afar, something seeing him on stage and off stage made her feel warm in a way, she liked seeing both sides of him.  She watched intensely with admiration, soon after she dove way to in into that feeling and unknowingly resting her head with her hand on a chair.

"Well someone's head is on the clouds," Wally then chuckled as (y/n)'s face redden "Oh! Mr. Darling! Aren't you—" "Commercial break? We're going live in a few minutes," he informed as he wiped away some sweat "We're you bored?" he then asked, she simply shook her head "Not at all, just admiring seeing how you work," she sighed "I used to just be a viewer, watching behind the screen with my little cousin," she recalled with a smile "—and know you're here," he chuckled again "I remember that feeling," he whispered to himself as he sat down. "I used to admire how the actors do their job through the screen," he laughed "And look where I am now...it feels..." "—surreal... like a dream, right?" (y/n) continued, he looked at her as he nodded.

He felt like he could get lost in her eyes again, like the first time, just something looking at those just pulls him in unknowingly. The eyes are the window of the soul they say.

"Uh—Mr. Darling?" (y/n) softly whispered, he flinched back into consciousness as he felt the soft brush against his nose, (y/n) let out a small giggle as she continued to pat his nose using the makeup brush "The director just said your going live again in a few minutes and I finished the touch-up's," she told him still feathering the brush making him laugh. "I–I got it–" he managed to speak between his giggles, "Please (y/n)! It's ticklish!" he laughed as (y/n) continued "Hey, it's a little fun!" she chuckled before she finally stopped.

He slowly stopped laughing "Thank you, (y/n)!" he smiled as he fixed his clothes before walking away, preparing for the camera. (Y/n) let out a sigh, something tells her she wished that moment were longer...it was fun. "Hey rookie," the woman from earlier then gave gave her a pat on the back "Looks like you don't need that luck afterall," she said as she smiled, her eyes on Wally "You two got a long quickly...very quickly," she emphasised.

"It's a good thing right?" (y/n) asked, the woman gave a thought of it before turning her head towards (y/n) "Depends...how far are you willing to go? The deeper...may bring you disaster, at least if we're talking about buissness," she responded seriously, her tone made (y/n) a bit frighten for the future. "Don't worry about it, I'm sure you'll find a way. You're a natural!" she reassured her before handing her hand out "Welcome abroad," she said as (y/n) accepted it, yet those words didn't sounded assuring for her, (y/n) continued to contemplate of what she said even after the bell rang for the last time.

Night rolled by and her shift was done, the city lights glimmering and decorating the dark buildings and streets as she rode the bus on the way home; her body felt heavy, exhausted she only wish to put her head against the comfort of her home with her mother, the soft pillows she always knew the feeling of but even so, she knew it wouldn't ease the question that circle in her head...

How far are you willing to go?

She let out a deep sigh.

"I can't answer that question..." she whispered to herself.
