CHAPTER THIRTEEN: Sound
Everyone was lined in pairs walking up all in order wearing their military uniform that was given to us, we all had held off our guns and we didn't know what to expect or what was coming.
The only thing that we really noticed is that the way Lee Choon-Ho and his people were leading us we had to walk through our hometown.
I heard people mutter as we all looked at the stores we walked past and the state of the place. Everything was quiet and almost like there was no living thing here, except for food scraps and designer scraps.
They immediately just left, thinking that's what we're seeing and guessing.
Though in my head, anyone who knew about the alien virus should automatically think they would've evacuated.
Though, it's unsure where they left. Assumedly maybe there is a shelter where they all gathered at.
I noticed a small 'hiss' sound from the bins and an unknown source of red paint dashing down. I'm sure I'm seeing things and this surely wasn't real I shook my head.
A while after we made it to the grande field I noticed targets hung up as another class was just finishing up.
A girl tried walking up to them, "I don't recommend doing that." I told her that it seemed to me like they were practising their real aim, with real Bullets.
One shot the target making a loud noise making girls scream and boys duck.
There was another one, Another painful loud gunshot. I fell to the ground when the loudness pierced itself through my ears.
All I could hear was ringing, my ears were utterly dropped closed. It must be the same with everyone else, gun shooting is new to us after all and hearing a gunshot is even more unexpected to happen.
I put my hands over my ears as other people did the same, I need some ear aids or something. Something to block the bang when i shoot.
The rest of the over class immediately shot the target, getting good aims while half of the class here was struggling to hear.
The sound stopped. Lee Choon-Ho walked to my side and brought me to my feet, I nodded to him as a thank you.
Our captain walked over to where the team was , they had a small chat.
"my, that was loud." someone said, "Hey! Are we gonna be learning to shoot guns?"
Most likely I thought to myself, "hey are your ears okay?" someone in front of me asked me.
I nodded, "yeah their good now , are you okay?" I asked Kim Chi-Yeol.
"yeah, it was just unexpected." he stated as he inched his neck before walking away.
