CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: Pull

We all finally arrived at our safest location, the school. well… Our school. The school that changed us all.

We all entered just to be surprised by many stares and many people that looked as if they held a grudge towards us. Unsurely I really don't know why.

We were all walking into the main building, "did shooting really give them a shock?" an older girl scoffed as my eye slowly crawled into hers and I just stared at her dead.

"It wasn't the guns that scared us." I said I was able for her to hear as her eyes widened as she turned to her friends.

Lee Choon-Ho walked beside me with a grump, he stared down at me. I could tell he didn't want me to give hints about what's happening.

I sighed as I dragged myself away from him, I finished the cola.

I placed the can into my military pocket. I should keep this after all it's a memory I want to keep.

"hey don't you guys think there's less people in that group?" gossip could be heard from miles away as we were pulling our deadly traumatised feet up the stairs.

Surely we didn't want to, I'm sure everyone here wants to just go to their so-called brackets and rest. We all wanted to forget everything as if we just woke up from a horrible nightmare. That didn't end.

Now that we were out of the danger zone we just came to realise what happened, we thought everything was a silly game with the military but we were wrong.

Tae-man tapped my shoulder oddly making me realise my surroundings as he walked into the classroom.

I was going too but ii-ha kindly did a effort and put himself first. Well that isn't so kind. Isn't it ladies first.

I guess ii-ha's a lady, I'm a man. I guess I should be acting like a man from now on, a man that someone can rely on.

I walked in and sat in my chair, as almost everyone sat in their chairs you could see the empty seats in sight. The sight was horrifying for everybody's eyes.

"I don't want to sit in the back.." we heard a boy say as I turned my head with others, his full row was gone. They were empty, "it's making me feel unlucky." he shivered in his seat.

I turned my head back around, head facing my rusty desk.

I put on a straight face as a triggering painful image appeared in my head. Tae-man, ii-ha everyone died. I chomped down onto my bottom lip, when you think about it and you face the spheres you can't help but worry over your classmates.

I shook my head. Come on Y/N you're the man now. I was too zoned out in my thoughts. I never had the time to realise that Lee Choon-Ho entered the room and Bo-Ra calling my name.
