JJ breaks his eye contact with Jo and scoffs as he glares at Sarah.
"So this is what we're doing now, huh? We're just sailing off? We're just gonna forget about John B?" JJ spits out.
"Nobody is forgetting about John B, JJ! We're gonna figure it out." she tells him.
"I already did figure it out. We never should have left him. We're going back." JJ commands.
"No! We're all gonna get caught. What type of plan is that?" Cleo argues.
"It's a plan to stick together, Cleo. We all just got back together." JJ argues back.
"Then we're gonna all die together!" Cleo scoffs and turns away.
"She's right. We had to leave, or we'd all be zip tied in the back of a pickup." Kie states.
"Jay, we did the right thing." Jo tells him.
They hear a phone ringing.
Kie reaches in her pocket and grabs the phone she took from Rafe.
"Who is it?" Pope asks.
"It's Portis." Kie tells them.
"Portis? That's John B!"
JJ takes the phone from Kie.
"Yo! Dude! Is this you?" JJ speaks into the phone.
"Put it on speaker."
"Speaker dude."
JJ put the phone on speaker.
"Do you need us to turn around?" JJ asks.
They hear John B speak, but it's static.
"What did you say?" JJ asks.
"Don't worry about me, okay? Look, it's too- hot here. Go- OBX."
John B keeps breaking up.
"We do not copy." JJ yells into the phone.
"Let me talk to him." Sarah takes the phone from JJ.
"John B?" Sarah speaks into the phone.
"Are you okay?" she asks.
"I'm fine. Everything is fine." John B speaks clearly.
"He's fine." Sarah informs her friends.
Jo releases a breath of relief.
"Thank God. What happened?"
All she gets back is muffled static.
"What? John B, we can't understand you." Sarah speaks.
"John B?"
They hear static.
"Kildare-"
Is all they are able to hear from John B before the line goes dead.
"Kildare? What the hell?" Sarah starts freaking out.
"You guys think he found his father?" Cleo questions.
"It's a long shot. He's been missing for over a year." Jo tells her.
"Sarah? What do you think we should do?" Kie asks Sarah.
"Sarah, we're sitting ducks right now. We need to make a decision. Are we turning back around, or just keep going?" JJ questions.
Sarah has tears in her eyes.
"He said go." Sarah tells him.
"Sarah-"
"Just go."
