How I Lost Him (ON HOLD)

Chapter 2
So there he was, the dj we've been waiting to come and interview us.

"Well, Why don't we go to the office. I'll do the interview there. And don't worry, it's no biggie. Just a couple of questions" he said. Then winked.

OMG! He is such a cutie!

Ellie and I look and smirked at each other and followed him to the office just right next to the booth. Inside, the office looked simple but still cool. There were three desks, one of which has a panel for recording audio and ads. The walls were mustard colored and the whole place smelled citrusy , thanks to the air freshener.There were several framed posters of singers and bands hanging on the wall, ranging from Madonna, The Beatles, Selena Gomez, Usher, One Direction, even Justin Bieber is there, and many others!

Chinky eyed DJ ushered us to another black sofa and said "Who's gonna go first? You with beautiful locks or you with a rockin' pixie cut?" Of course, we giggled. Damn, this guy knows how to impress a girl! "Oh btw, I'm West. And nope, that not my real name, that's my air name. 😉" he added, and winked again. Dammit! :3

"Of course we know that, we know all of the djs here! Of course not personally, but we listen to you guys all the time so yeah, we know you guys." Ellie said with a goofy smile in her face, which is so typical of her. I can't blame her, the dude's really good looking! Yes we "know" all of the jocks, BY NAME, but this is the first time we've seen some of them (Anj and West) in person and man, they can surprise us!

"Oh really now? Well, we will see in our one-on-one later if you guys really do know us. Pixie cut, why don't you go first?" West asked. Ellie looked at me and I motioned her to go on. They transferred to a desk far enough from the sofa we were sitting at and started the interview.

While waiting, I pulled my phone out and played Carrot Fantasy (look it up guys! It's actually fun! :) -A). I was so busy killing monsters who are to attack my precious carrot that I haven't noticed that Ellie was already back in front of me.

"Earth to Belle!" she exclaimed.

"Oh, you're done? That was fast!" I said.

"Uhuh! 'Twas no biggie. Your turn now! Go! I know you want some of that 'alone time'!" She teased. Ugh, she knows something's up. She really knows me well.

I went to the desk and sat in front of him. "Hi!" he said, then grinned. Asdfghjkl I think I'm gonna melt! "Hey!" I answered confidently. Time to make a good impression.

"So your name is Belle Thompson. Nice! How old are you?"

"15 turning 16 next month" I answered with glee.

"Oh is that so? Well, happy birthday in advance to you B!" -West

"Thanks!" I smiled shyly. Please don't blush, don't blush--- I mentally told myself.

The interview went on for about thirty minutes. And I thought awhile ago Ellie's interview was quick. And she was right, it was no biggie. West was cool and relax, he just mainly asked about my personal self, school, hobbies, interests, and when did I start listening to their radio station. He also made me enumerate all the dj's and the names of their night time shows, which I answered correctly, precisely and with confidence.

"So why do you want to be a dj?" he asked.

"Well, besides for the fact that I want to be able to know and hangout with you guys (the dj's), I will have to admit that I'm shy at times." I said.

"You're shy? I don't think shy is a thing to describe you. You're quite confident!"-West

"Yeah, it depends actually." I laughed. "I can be confident to one or two people in front of me, but in crowds...not so much. So I figured, being a DJ can somehow help me overcome that shyness, at least one step at a time. At least, they don't get to see me yet, just hear my voice!" I smiled. I hope I reasoned out right. I secretly crossed my fingers behind my back.

"Well, thank you Belle! We'll call you back for the results. It was so nice talking to you." He extended his hand. OMG *shakes hands*

I got back to Ellie when West called "You guys are awesome to talk to! I'm really hoping you guys will get in! I'd love to hangout more with both of you." he said. He smiled at us again and with that, he was out of the office.

Ellie and I looked at each other. And yes, We couldn't contain our muffles. We went out of the radio station before we can explode into laughter.

"Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh! How was that??" she exclaimed with enthusiasm.

"I know right! This deserves some major girl talk!" I said.

"And a cool treat!" Ellie added.

"Yes! McElliot's?" I suggested.

And we didn't need to think twice. Time for some FroYo!
