chapter1: The hero hunter.

This chapter takes place a couple months before the show after this a timeskip will happen and the we arrive to the events of season 1.

It was a bright sunny day and a small group of three children could be seen playing in a playground with no supervision from their guardians.

Off to the side by himself was a short white haired boy with pointer spiked hair wearing a black t shirt and shorts with tennis shoes watching.

Y/n was invested in a picture book he was reading as he flipped through pages as two boys approached him watching them making the white hair child look at them in confusion.

The first kid was a short tan skinned boy with black hair and brown eyes. He wore a blue shirt and brown shorts with flip flops.

The second was a lanky boy with fiery red hair and orange eyes. He wore a red t shirt with fire on it and black shorts with a flame design on it and walked barefooted.

Y/n: Uh hello?

Boy: Yo. My name is kaito and I was wondering if you wanted to join me and my friend to play heroes.

Y/n: Play heroes?

Y/n clapped his book shut and set it down on the ground as he stood up looking at kaito.

Kaito: Yeah, it's play pretend. The villain gets chased around and stuff by the heroes.

Boy2: Yeah play with us it'll be fun.

Kaito: See my friend wants you to join.

Y/n: Oh, could I be a hero?

Kaito looked at his Friend while rubbing the back of his head before looking at the hopeful Y/n.

Kaito: Oh, uh me and my friend kinda already chose that you'd be a villain for this game. The next round you can be a hero though.

Y/n furrowed his brows and nodded his head in understanding before he followed kaito away to a contraption in the park that was like a giant spiderweb made from rope. He stopped when kaito held his hand out to stop him.

Y/n: So. .what now?

Kaito: I'm gonna climb up there and the game will begin.

Y/n: Ok.

Y/n watched kaito climb the rope as his stomach churned on the inside, he had a bad feeling and watched as kaito faced him and pointed a finger up into the air.

Kaito: There you are villain! I kaito the number one hero will put a stop to your evil deeds! Justice kick!

Y/n: Wha?!

Kaito jumped at y/n with a foot aimed at the white haired boys face as instincts took control of the orphan who ducked under it as kaito landed on his feet and wobbled a little due to missing his target. When he regained his balance he spun around and glared at Y/n who felt his heart beat rapidly in his chest.

Kaito: That's not how you play the game! You're supposed to stand still!

Y/n: What? I can't dodge?!

Y/n had a look of confusion on his face as kaito stomped his foot on the ground with a scowl on his face.

Kaito: Jai! Hold him!

Y/n felt two arms hook underneath his armpits and looked to see the second boy holding him still making him struggle and before he knew it be took a shoe directly to the face.

Two hazel eyes snapped open as an older looking Y/n blinked. He was laying on a torn and ripped sofa that had stuffing coming out the tears in it's fabric.
