The next morning rolls in. Dave gets up. But Kurt was no where to be seen. He yawned. Rubbed his eyes and removed the blankets off of his body.
Stepping his feet to the ground, Dave walks himself to his dresser that is beside Kurt's.
He opened it and got himself dressed. His mind racing on where Kurt could possibly have gone too.
Finishing up with his clothes, Dave steps out of the room and walks down the stairs.
Seeing Kurt in the kitchen. "Kurt? What are you doing awake so early?" He questioned.
Kurt turned his head. Leaning his body on the kitchen counter. A cigarette between his fingers.
Some smoke going up in the air. "I couldn't get back to sleep." He responded.
Taking a deep inhale of the cigarette, before he blew it back out into the air.
Dave looked at the clock. 8:00AM. He yawned once he noticed how early it was.
"What day is it?" Dave asks as he opened the fridge. Taking out a bottle of water.
"Valentine's Day." Kurt responded. Looking out the window with pained eyes.
"O–oh.." Dave croaked out as he slowly unscrewed the cap. He takes a few sips of the water before he sets it back onto the counter.
"Do you want to do something today? We've been just cooped up inside since January."
Dave offered.
Kurt pushed his kitchen window opened. His hair blew from the gush of wind. He flicked the cigarette out the window.
"I'd actually love that. There's a pizza place not too far from here. We can get pizza for breakfast." Kurt thought out loud. A smile growing on his face.
"Yeah! That sounds like a good idea. But, you should get ready first Kurt. You desperately need a shower..." Dave trailed off.
Kurt nodded his head in agreement. He walked over to Dave. And kissed his lips. "Happy Valentine's Day." He says and went up the stairs.
Leaving Dave flustered in the kitchen.
