Dave couldn't sleep. His mind is racing about his boyfriend. All he can ever think of is Kurt Cobain.

He tossed and turned. Desperately trying to get some shut-eye but he can't. He feels so lonely.

It felt weird to sleep on his own. He's use to Kurt's warmth. His soft breathing. His head on the drummers chest.

The drummer sits up. Rubbing a hand through his hair. He shakes his head. He needs to see Kurt.

Disregarding the blanket, Dave left it on the couch. He tiredly yawned, the clock read 1:34AM.

Quietly, Dave walked up the stairs. Once he reached the top. He walked down the large hallway.

He remembers everywhere around this house by now. Since he's moved in and lived inside of it for 3 months or so. Almost four.

Reaching to the bedroom. Dave quietly opened the door. He realized Kurt is passed out asleep.

He smiled a little as he quietly entered. He shuts the door behind himself. Walking himself to the bed, Dave lays himself into it.

He sighed in content. This felt right. His brown eyes gazed lovingly at the sleeping body next to him.

Dave saw Kurt's freckled bare shoulder peaking out of the blankets. This is a rare occurrence. Usually Kurt sleeps with a shirt on.

Dave softly chuckled as he admired his boyfriend. The moonlight is flooded in the room, it glistened onto Kurt's peaceful face.

"Hi baby." Dave whispered as his warm lips pressed themselves onto Kurt's neck.

Kurt mewled quietly at the warm sensation but still remained asleep. Dave continued to leave soft sleepy kisses to Kurt's neck and jawline.

Slowly reopening his exhausted eyes, Kurt shifted his gaze to notice a form in his bed. Recognizing this as Dave. A small smile grows onto Kurt's face.

"Hi." Kurt whispered. "Hi." Dave whispered in return. His hot breath against Kurt's skin.

Kurt shifted. He rolled over. Facing Dave as he laid his head onto Dave's chest.

The drummer started to play with Kurts golden hair. "I thought you were sleeping downstairs..?" Kurt asked, followed by a yawn.

The rain is quiet and softly hitting the window panes of the mansion in Seattle.

"I decided to come back, here. I had plenty of space now." Dave responded. Kissing Kurt's cheek. "I've forgiven you." He reminded.

A soft sleepy giggle left Kurt's lips. Feeling Dave's fingers brushing through his hair. Kurt felt relaxed and cozy.

"It felt lonely." Dave admitted. His hand movements came to a stop. Kurt sighed as he lifted his head. "I know. It was hard for me to fall asleep, but I did."

"I couldn't. I can't sleep without you." Dave confessed as he pecked Kurt's lips.

"You'll get use to it." Kurt responded back. Dave is taken aback with another wash of confusion.

He didn't understand at all what this is meaning. Was this a sick joke? Dave wasn't sure. It is hard to read Cobain's mind after all.

Before Dave could question once again, Kurt spoke up. "Nevermind...have a good rest baby. Im so tired."

"Yeah, you too..." Dave trailed off as he stared at the ceiling. Trying to think about Kurt was meaning.

Kurt imediantly fell asleep.

But Dave couldn't pinpoint it. It spiraled into ocean waves of confusion and worrisome. Maybe Dave is just overwhelming himself?

Dave assumed that was the case. He hushed his thoughts. And focused himself with the blond in his arms.

"I love you baby." Dave whispered and kissed Kurt's head. Taking in the scent as his eyes fluttered close.

Cuddling with his boyfriend and falling asleep.
