I'm in a good mood, so here's another chapter! Hugs- Isabel
We walk up to the building. Sam raises his hands and yells.
"All right! We're here, you sons of bitches! Come and get it!"
Three demons come out. Dean smirks. "Hey, guys. Is your father home?" He says.
The demons grab us and bring us upstairs to Lucifer.
"Hey, guys. So nice of you to drop in." Lucifer says smiling. The demons drop us on the floor. I pick myself up.
Lucifer is by a window. He draws a pitchfork on the window. "Sorry, it's a bit chilly. Most people think I burn hot. It's actually quite the opposite." Lucifer says.
"Well, I'll alert the media." Dean says. Lucifer turns toward us. He walks over.
"Help me understand something. I mean, stomping through my front door is... A tad suicidal, don't you think?" He says. I just shrug.
"We're not here to fight you." Sam says. Lucifer looks at him.
"No? Then why are you here?" He asks.
"I want to say yes." Sam says.
"Excuse me?" Lucifer asks, making sure he heard it right.
Just then, Sam closes his eyes and the three demons drop dead in flashes of light. My eyes go slightly wide, but only for a second. If Sam can do that, can?
"Chock full of Ovaltine, are we?" Lucifer says amused.
"You heard me. Yes." Sam says again.
"You're serious." Lucifer says surprised.
"Look." Sam sighs. "Judgement Day's a runaway train. We get it now. We just want off." Sam says convincingly.
"Meaning?" He asks.
"Deal of the century. I give you a free ride, but when it's all over, I live, they live." He looks at Dean and me. "You bring our parents back..." Lucifer interrupts him.
"Okay, can we please drop the telenovela? I know you have the rings, Sam."
I look confused, pretending I don't know what he's talking about.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Sam says. His acting skills a little rusty.
"The Horsemen's rings? The magic keys to my Cage? Ring a bell?" He walks over to Sam.
"Come on, Sam. I've never lied to you. You could at least pay me the same respect." He sighs.
"It's okay. I'm not mad. A wrestling match inside your noggin... I like the idea. Just you and me, one round, no tricks. You win, you jump in the hole. I win... Well, then I win. What do you say, Sam? A fiddle of gold against your soul says I'm better than you." Lucifer taunts.
Sam looks at Dean and me and shrugs. "So he knows. Doesn't change anything." He tells us.
"Sam." Dean and I both say.
"We don't have any other choice."
Dean yells. "No." I whisper it, knowing it's already too late.
"Yes." Sam says. Lucifer smiles. His eyes close and a bright light comes out of him into Sam.
***************************************
The light dims. I see Dean looking around. Sam is on the ground. He's not moving. I toss Dean the Horsemen's rings.
He throws it at the wall and chants. "Bvtmon... Tabges...Babalon." He says. Air is being sucked from a hole that appears. We turn and see Sam moving. We run to him.
"Sammy!" He yells
"Dean!" He yells back.
"Sam..." I say sadly. I don't think he hears it.
Sam groans. "I can feel him. Oh, god!" I gulp and hide my tears.
Both Dean and I help Sam up.
"You got to go now! Come on! Go now, Sammy. Now!" Dean yells. I can feel how much each word hurts Dean.
Sam walks toward the hole and takes in a deep breath then he turns around and smiles.
"I was just messing with you. Sammy's long gone." Lucifer says. I look at him, every part of me breaking. The smirk on his isn't Sam's. Nothing is.
I fall to my knees as Lucifer closes the hole and grabs the rings.
He turns toward us, a smirk on his face. "I told you.... This would always happen in Detroit." Lucifer says before disappearing.
Dean is silently crying. Tears are falling down my face. I walk over to Dean and put my hand in his shoulder. I pat his back. "We're going to get him back. I promise Dean, we'll get him back."
