Josh x reader (until dawn)

Family reunion

I head downstairs, Josh slowly behind me. As I walk down the many flights of stairs I adjust Josh's hoodie, concealing my love bites. 

The last thing I want is to have everyone find out about... well you know.
My face lights up as I see Beth and Hannah emerge through the front door. I run over to them and throw my arms around them, it felt like ages since all of us has been here together.
"Omg y/n! Gosh this trip had killed all of us!" Beth says.

 
"What's up party people!" Mike chants as he enters the house. Your eyes widen as you notice Jessica by his side, and Emily a great distance away from Mike.
"Woah, what happened there..." Josh whispers in your ear.

 
You scan the room and see Ashley and Chris chatting off to the right and Matt lingering a bit by the front door. You also see Sam still in the doorway, looking at the beautiful snow falling down.
"Well people here's the plan... I have room assignments. Beth and Hannah, you guys can just go into your bedrooms since they're still set up, I have three twins in the one room on the second floor that's where Mike, Chris, and Matt will be staying. And I have another guest room with a queen and futon that will be for Jessica, Ashley, and Emily. Me and y/n are sharing my room because she's too stubborn to take my room and me the couch. Now party people, any questions?" Josh resights like a novel.

 
Mike raises his hand slowly and then says, "Can we have um... mixed gender rooms...".
Josh let's out a little chuckle and says, "Well I'd prefer to have this nice vacation be less of a Porn star filming area but... I cannot stop any fucking that occurs."

Josh then turns to me and gives a little smirk. I sneakily kick the back of his foot. "Don't... I don't want anyone to know yet...", I whisper to Josh. Josh looks down at you and says, "Hey, don't worry. We should talk later." 

I take a slow breath and then go to greet everyone. I first approach Hannah and Beth. We embrace in a huge group hug and do a little sway. I'm so excited to see everyone! I feel a little awkward since I'm still in high school and they all are going off to college but I'm glad we were able to manage a vacation. All I hope for is that there's no drama and we can all enjoy each other's company. Thats wishful thinking though...

I then go off to give out some hugs to the rest of the crew and to say a simple hello and thanks for coming. I then make my way into the kitchen. I throw on a pot of coffee because I don't think sleep is in anyone's mind at the moment. I glance back over into the living room, and I see everyone gathering together. Hannah, Beth, Sam, and Jessica all steal the couch. Emily and Matt sit on the love seat, and Chris and Mike just relax on the carpet. 

I notice Josh is not in sight. I turn my head back over towards the coffee pot and flinch when I see Josh standing next to me. 

"Jeez you scared me!", I say to Josh.

"Damn, your jumpy." Josh replies. 

Josh then takes his pointer finger and runs it down my side. He started from my waist and ran his finger down to my butt. I give him a death stare and mouth the word, "Stop". 

"You still flustered from my magic?" Josh whispers to you. He has a stupid grin on his face. I roll my eyes and say, "Well yes... I was a... you know..."

Josh face then turns bright like a tomato. He looks down to try to conceal his new shade. "Yeah... I know. You were, really tight..." He responds. 

Now my face is just as red as his. I quickly cover my hands with my face to try to compose myself. I take a few deep breaths and both of our shades die down a bit. I then turn my focus back onto the coffee pot. I go to grab a few mugs but find myself a few inches shy from the top shelf. I then feel a presence behind me. Josh, from behind, reaches up to grab a couple mugs from the top shelf. He places ten mugs onto the counter. He gently closes the cupboard and then steps away. I was worried if anyone saw us but yet, I wanted him to not leave. He felt, so good against me. 

I turn around to face Josh, he's only a few paces away. "Thank you" I say. He gives me a simple smile and responds with, "Anything for you." I then give a warm smile and then ask, "Should we make popcorn?" 

"Couldn't hurt" He replies. 

We then reach into the cabinet near the microwave and grab some popcorn bags. We undo the plastic wrap and toss the first bag in. There was some awkward silence between us two. The only thing that can be heard was distant chatter from the living room and the pops every other second. Josh then quickly reaches into the microwave and rotates a new bag. Whilst he does so I grab two large serving bowls. In the end we made four bags and divided them among the two bowls. 

I grab a small serving tray and place the hot kettle of coffee and the mugs. Josh then grabs the two bowls of popcorn and follows me. 

"Hey y/n!" Josh says. 

"Yes?" I respond. 

"Can we talk before bed tonight?" He asks. 

I give a simple nod and then we head into the living room with the goods.
