Inside the student council office, the members gathered around their president, Amare. She exuded confidence and pride, her eyes sweeping over her team.

"Listen up, everyone. The summer games are upon us, and it's time for us to show the entire academy our superiority," Amare declared, her voice commanding the room. "We represent the pinnacle of elemental power. We will not accept anything less than victory."

Veritas, standing by Amare's side, offered her support. "Amare's right. We've worked hard to get here, and now it's our time to shine. Let's show them what the student council is made of."

Zeloto, his sadistic humor shining through, smirked. "Oh, I'm looking forward to crushing some dreams out there. Let's make sure everyone remembers the name of the student council."

"We need to stay focused and work together. As long as we execute our strategies and keep our cool, we'll come out on top." Wyndham said with a composed voice, as he stole a brief glance at Veritas.

Illyria, the youngest and newest member of the student council team, nodded in agreement. "I-I will do my best!"

With a final nod from Amare, the student council members dispersed, ready to prove their prowess and uphold their reputation as the academy's elite in the summer games. The competition was fierce, but they were determined to emerge victorious.

As Wyndham walked out of the room, Zeloto stood at the door and said: "Its seems that your lady has a crush on a human." Zeloto said with a sadistic smile.

Wyndham paused in his tracks, his expression darkening. "What are you implying, Zeloto?" he asked, his voice tense.

Zeloto leaned against the door frame, his sadistic smile never leaving his face. "Oh, you haven't heard? It seems Veritas has taken a liking to that human Kard. They even attended the dance together, didn't you see that with your own eyes?" He chuckled cruelly, clearly enjoying the discomfort his words were causing.

Wyndham clenched his fists, his jaw tightening. He knew Zeloto was only trying to rile him up, but the thought of Veritas being close to someone else, especially a human, was hard to swallow. "Mind your own business, Zeloto. We have a competition to focus on," he replied, trying to keep his emotions in check.

With a final sneer, Zeloto pushed himself off the doorframe. "Of course, of course. Just thought you should know." He sauntered away, leaving Wyndham to stew in his thoughts.

Kardusenn Romello...

Wyndham thought, as he gritted his teeth.

If only you weren't here...

Wyndham slammed his fist into the wall.

"Curses!" Wyndham yelled, his voice echoing through the empty hallway.

Q: What would you do if your crush had a crush on another person?
