I waited for about an hour for Elijah until I realised that he probably wasn't going to show up. I knew that it wasn't his fault and he was more than likely daggered again by the Scooby gang.
I lay in bed staring up at the ceiling blankly, I didn't get much sleep. Too busy worrying about what happened to Elijah and also due to the fact I had this feeling that something was wrong but there's so many things wrong at the moment it was hard to tell what my subconscious was trying to warn me about.
I had also been feeling this dull pain in my chest, I thought at first it may just be because I was missing Elijah but that would relate to emotional pain and this was very much physical. However, it wasn't painful enough to worry about right now, just sort of a dull ache.
Caroline entered my room with a sad smile on her face once she noticed me staring into nothing and just lying in bed.
"Did they do it?" I ask not looking towards her but knowing why she had entered my room.
"Yes" Caroline replied guiltily before leaving the room again. She knew how much Arabella cared for Elijah and she didn't believe that he would have hurt them or given Elena to Klaus but there was no way she could convince them otherwise.
I sighed as I rolled over onto my side and grabbed my phone. There was only one person who would be able to cheer me up right now and that was Spence.
CALLING SPENCER...
I got no reply the first time I called him so I assumed he was busy with his case and wasn't able to pick up the phone right away since he had texted me yesterday saying they had gotten a case.
CALLING SPENCER...
I tried again 10 minutes later and still got no reply. Now I'm starting to worry, even when Spencer is on a case he always makes sure to first notify me he's on a case and secondly if I call during a case and he's busy, he will send me a quick text telling me he can't talk at the minute and to call later.
CALLING SPENCER...
Still nothing. The feeling I had last night and this morning that something was wrong pops into my mind and I wonder if it is related to why Spencer is not answering my calls. If Spencer can't answer my calls then I guess I'll try Derek.
