"So, when you did the spell to send Vicki away, did you get rid of Anna too?" Caroline asks as we both hold either side of the ladder as Bonnie hangs a paper lantern in the tree. As for why I am actively helping set up for Illumination night, well Caroline practically dragged me from Elijah's apartment this morning to help them.
FLASHBACK TO THIS MORNING...
"Belle, I know you're in there!" Caroline's voice shouts from outside the apartment followed by continuous banging on the door. I groan into Elijah's side as he chuckles in amusement, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.
"It seems as if you are needed, Elskan" Elijah says with a small smile.
"If we are quiet, we can pretend we're not here and she'll go away" I whisper to Elijah with a hopeful look, who doesn't look too convinced by the notion.
"Belle, I can hear, vamp hearing remember. Now you have 5 minutes to get your ass out that door, or I'll come in and drag you out myself" Caroline threatens causing me to sigh and roll out of Elijah's bed, quickly washing my face before throwing on an outfit.
"I'll see you later, my dear" Elijah says walking up beside me and placing a gentle kiss on my forehead.
"If I'm still alive by then" I mutter with a grimace, already imagining all the things Caroline was going to make me do today as I walk out of the door, waving goodbye to Elijah over my shoulder.
